In this video I show how I dealt with the those leaky panel clips that allows water to get inside your van and potentially cause you a lot of rework and problems in the future, this is one of the worst design flaws I have ever came across on a vehicle all VW crafters & sprinters suffer from this problem and for me its one of the first jobs you MUST consider undertaking for peace of mind and extend the life span of your selfbuild campervan

It's ridiculous that two such major manufacturers don't take such a simple but vital step during production. One of the first jobs on my list.

I think they build vehicles to fail to generate income they wouldn't get away with it with private cars but commercial are fair game

i'm currently converting a Peugeot boxer and it leaks in at every side light that is in them side trims , but all the clips are ok :)

Have you managed to seal them up? I've never worked on a boxer are they bad leaks

You got me it one job I've not got around too doing 😁🫵 I'm adding it to the list again I really hate the noise the door makes when I close it, doing this job will fix that too 👍

Hello mate, Where did you find the stickers you placed on the sides of the Sprinter ? I've got a 2019 Sprinter 2500 Cargo which is plain white and would like to "vibe" it a bit. So I am thinking about putting some design stickers on the sides to make it a bit nicer than just white. Thanks in advance for your help !!! Jimmy

We just made them from several different one off ebay as we couldn't find a design we like so we made our own 😁👍
