Excellent point. It's too much of a NASAL sound, high pitched and very annoying for sure. A voice coach for women does help, to lower their voices when being excited, reading a script, or giving a speech. Women ALWAYS raise their voice to a higher pitch/register when they do things. It can be retrained, unlearned and a better voice technique be learned. I've WORKED WITH voice teachers for decades. They work wonders and retrain little tiny voices to powerful, secure and goegeous ones.

How will these picky brides cope with life after the wedding when it isn't always going to go exactly as they want? I've been married for over 35 years and the words in the vows - for better, for worse, in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer - all of them have applied to us over the years. I consider it a win that we're still together and still finding things to look forward to.

Not only is the narrator annoyingly telling us every single thing we're watching as if we're incapable of comprehending it, she's actually acting as if she knows what everyone on the show is thinking and feeling. Luckily there's a TLC Channel on KZfaq where we can watch the episodes uninterrupted.

My oldest daughter Danielle has always wanted to wear a black dress at her wedding. As her mom I have always had her back. It's just a dress and the important part of the wedding is the couple getting married anyway. So if my girl wants black shevwill have black. If her kid sister wants yellow she will have yellow.

More mothers should share your view. I hear so many mothers on these videos saying "I want", "I like", instead of letting their daughters have what THEY want at THEIR wedding! My mother married in 1947 and her mother (my sweet grandmother) was a seamstress and made her dress, 3 bridesmaid dresses, and all the beaded headpieces. The only problem was the neckline which didn't meet the approval of my grandma, so she changed it. Apparently, it was okay for the bridesmaids because they had the original neckline. My mother talked about the disappointment her entire life. She chose that pattern expressly for the neckline. The kicker was, when my sister got married, there was a huge 'discussion' about wearing a veil or hat, walking up the aisle or come in from the side, etc. My grandma and my mother were very sweet people otherwise. Sadly, many mothers project their desires for their own wedding onto their daughters.

I greatly dislike this video because of the pitch of the narrator’s voice and the way the bride’s journey to find their perfect dress for their weddings was chopped, edited and overvoiced. I won’t watch this type of video again.
