1. Move away from your city/hometown/country if it’s holding you back 2. Quit your job if its not making you happy or serving your purpose 3. Prioritize your mental health (set strong boundaries) 4. Don’t settle down or at the very least settle down but don’t have kids 5. Cut people off (people who disrespect you, people who ignore your boundaries, toxic people)

All the points are very crucial and not talked about enough. Especially the marriage one. Alot of women desperately getting into relationships so they can secure a life partner cos they think they are running out of time, and they end up accepting the worst from their partners.

Intentionally picking people who come into your life as friends is key 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 don’t be afraid to cut off people or friends that is not serving you 👏🏾👏🏾 friendship is not by force. Spot on

I have unapologetically cut off a friend before in the past. Prior to cutting the friend off we had an hours long conversation of me expressing aspects of the friendship that I was concerned about and how if things continued I would end it. They agreed and said they'd change. Long story short they did not. Events occured and they did something that was the last straw and I cut them off. It was hard, but if I could go back in time I would do it all over again because getting rid of that friendship was the start of me healing and learning to establish healthy relationships with people. I think it took me around 6 months to fully get over it. A year later they got in contact with me via other people seeing as they were blocked everywhere else. I had already forgiven them. But what I want to make clear is that I reconciled the friendship enough that they are more so an acquaintance more than anything. We will never be the way we once was but at least they're in my life at a safe enough distance that does not affect my health and wellbeing.

As soon as I saw the no kid no marriage in the thumbnail I clicked. 6 months ago a relationship ended that I thought would never end. After 3 months I went on a date with a guy who I started liking, but things didn’t work out, so I went back to focusing on me fully.
