@@stephenbehren1230they're probably hesitant because the demo brought them really bad publicity. People will have sycophants in their pockets that they take wherever they go. Most people who find that aspect appealing will likely have enough sense not to employ it openly but there will envitably be some oblivious cringelords that get the limelight. Sort of like the people that were recorded using VR headsets or the Apple Vision Pro in public but probably worse.

I realized the other day that this will make us so reliant on it. So I wanted to calculate how much I would make on a new job based on my pay rate, hours, shift and bonus. So instead of pulling out a calculator and paper I just asked chatgpt by voice, as though I was speaking to a person and it just calculated everything for me. I didn’t even need to think about math or use a pencil. It was so fast. But If I never have to really calculate anything myself, not even by putting numbers in a calculator then we will probably forget how to use calculators as well. Just thought I would share this because I use it so often. I literally used this thing to help me come up with a pick up line when I’m texting someone. It so scary how useful it is that it might as well do most if not all the work for us😂.

I'm gonna reiterate what everyone else is saying. The new voice mode needs to come out soon. Delaying Sora is fine since it was a demo and not release, but you lead us to believe that the voice mode was coming imminently and it's been over a month. People have literally paid subscriptions for a feature that just hasn't been released. You are really dropping the ball on your image as industry leaders right now.

ebay has had AI descriptions forever... and they are awful... full of fruity over-the-top sales jibberish for a wonky old widget. However, AGI is down the road. AI has already beed used to develop medicines and make scientific discoveries..(google it, but not with google AI it might tell you it discovered the cure for cancer is bunny farts)
