Man… That was a huge split in the intake manifold. Ain't no way he was going to "jet" around that!!! at least not properly. People really need to do things the way you do… Slow and methodical and really look at some of the more obvious things that get looked over. Nice job. Just from watching your videos, I would imagine there are thousands of people out there that will always check their intake manifold when tuning up and working on their bikes. 👍

I’d bet the top needs to be re done, coolant system flushed, it’s caked with whatever was in the coolant, jetting sounds like a weird combination, the plug wire is unreliable. All the hoses hard, auto parts store stuff with screw clamps too large. She’s a rehab special, looks like a nice project though provided parts are still around.

I would have used automotive silicon sealer on that boot. Epoxy hardens and cracks again. Open up the crack, squirt in silicon, wipe off excess, and warm up with a hair-dryer to fast-cure the silicon.

I used to work on boats as well as 2smokes, and on manifold cracks I used an underwater sealant like 3M 5200 or Sikaflex after seeing it still act like rubber 20y under sea water and impossible to chisel out. Even around exhaust header temps this thing lasted long.

If you need to take something apart and don’t want to rip the gaskets, try using a heat gun first.. it loosens everything up when the metal expands

uaha... got my husky by the exactly same way...the last owner crashed it and never used it anymore, mine was forgotten for 10 years in a shed. Gave to me just before scrapping it. I also had to replace te pump seal, a little mess, but pretty straight forward.

The clutch feels funny cause of the oil you put in it, them huskys like Amsoil synthetic and again gear oil not motor oil trust me. I had a 92 360wr as did my Pop and another friend of our had a 2000 250WR and they all worked best with the Amsoil
