What I do sometimes with my fail buys is if someone buys something similar and it doesn’t effect the postage price, I send it with it and say it’s a freebie! I find that then encourages them to shop back with you because you’ve given them a freebie

Books like these can be amazing, but most are not worth bothering with. For example, the bundles Mel in Australia sells seem to go for crazy money VS the same bundles here we'd get almost nothing for.

I do think that. I think Mel in Australia is so successful because it’s something like Australia don’t have the same Amazon or sellers can’t sell on it the same way as the UK or US so ebay has all the market for media sales

And she isn’t competing against the HUGE book sellers we are….world of books for example. You defo couldn’t do what she does in the UK!

@@mischalikes6408 ahh, really? Had no idea! Yes, that flat rate must really help! Here, WOB are making pennies on books, but they are such a massive seller that it must be worth their while I guess!

Nic, as the tokens are unpunched, put it on as an auction - any sort of popular game with unpunched tokens, cards etc are worth a small fortune

There is a genre of books that makes very good money (not mentioning it!) and it happens to be one of my hobbies so i have some knowledge. I come across these books regularly and always grab them. Recently i was in a Sainsbury's branch and it had a charity book stall by the tills. And there was a pile of these books and which i took. ( I did leave a generous amount for the books in the charity box) I listed the books on ebay and they all sold one getting £110 and all the others over £50. Another book i found in a charity shop for £3 i sold for £80.

I've started to buy and repair TVs to sell on, and give them a second life, but i also buy TVs with broken screens and strip for part's, so now i want to start selling them on ebay all new to me. how do i protect myself from having a customer say that the part they took out that wasn't working was mine.

The Dungeons and Dragons 2nd edition books will be hit or miss. Most players are playing 5th edition or 3rd edition to a smaller extent. The temple of Elemental Evil module you have will catch some eyes, so my advice would be to lead with that and Bundle in the Players and Dungeon Masters books or you may be sitting on them for a while. Anyone playing 2nd edition will definitely have the players and Dungeon masters books so there is that one guy out there you're hoping will see your listing. Encourage the buyer to get The Temple of Elemental Evil and they will just take the other 2 books as back ups. The Modules are listed a bit high but will sell. The Dungeon Master Screen I'd probably bundle in also, people dont really buy those, $10 would be a better price in my opinion. For the Temple of Elemental Evil, you will get $50 with or without the Players and Dungeon Masters books. I suggest going for $90 for all three bundled. Ive been player for a number of years and that might be the only way I would buy those books if I were looking for them. The Lady Gaga books and Vet books will definitely sell. Shes gonna get some buzz in the next few weeks.

LOL, thats not what its for. It has some charts you would use for convenience and shields you notes from prying player eyes. Cuts down on some cheating.

I was bundling Novels over covid and they sold well but not for great money. The bundles rarely sell at all now, people seem to have given up reading again. And how the big booksellers can sell so cheap with free post is beyond me.
