It was a tv pastor and he claimed the name was evil as they are "monsters" and something about greed as "you gotta catch em all"

You hear what you hear tho. My Gma was big in her church and they were the ones who helped volunteer to make Easter stuff happen for example. They helped decorate the town for x Mas. Not many pple else but those within the church helped in their own community. Also ran plenty of charity type events to help others in need so idk if categorizing all religion in America as evil is anything but incorrect

I know that it was, I got about 50% of what it was worth. But to me, having to list and sell it all just wasn’t worth my time. I know others who are into Pokémon and modern wouldn’t have made the same decision as me but it’s just what I felt was a right for me. It’s never been about the money for me. I just want to have fun. Regardless, appreciate the comment 👍🏽

Yeah, it’s mostly about having fun collecting, and if the fun isn’t there anymore, I get it. It may seem like a lot of money for some cardboard, in the grand scheme of life, it would not even cover my mortgage and daycare for a month.

I wish I would have touched more about in in my video. I jumped on the bandwagon because I loved the feeling of the hunt. it reminded me of the craze that hit the late 90’s. But, I realized as my collection grew that I never had any sentimental value to the newer cards and just got to a point I was just hoarding them. I’d much rather them go to collector who will enjoy them or open them then sit in a bin in the corner of my garage. I’ll continue to collect Pokémon, just with a focus on WOTC era and vintage.

@RickofEarthTV I'm not one to judge bro. Some say it's a diss to have hopped on or got more into it when covid hit but idc. I did. As most I was into it before too and you must find a way to fund the hobby. We didn't get more into it because others were solely We got back into it because for once, most average folks were into pokemon and were able to share the love. Some say its for monetary gain only but who wouldn't or isn't thinking bout saving sealed for profit? If they aren't they aren't thinking. But you must enjoy it as well and it seems the joy, for me anyway, has started to pass once again. I no longer feel good spending $50 for anything that has almost no monetary value once opened. Had to switch to singles due to price and just doesn't cut it for me so I've been on the verge lately. Won't abandon it but think ima take a break for the summer til 151 comes out anyway and see if it gets better

Wasn’t an easy decision for sure! But I have zero sentimental value or longevity of care for modern. Just what I felt was right for me but I appreciate the comment! ❤️

@@Champ7RBLXthis isn’t anything recent. This was what certain news stations were reporting back in the late 90’s. I don’t think collecting Pokémon is against any religion! I was 10 years old back in 1999 😂
