TJ - just a word of advice. I know you say that you want to track the M4, please please please change out those tires. Mickey Thompson ET Street R are meant for drag racing only. They are not meant to corner or handle circuit track turns. They have an extremely soft sidewall that is meant to flex for maximum acceleration in a straight line. It will handle extremely poorly and almost dangerously on a circuit track. You really want to find a circuit track tire if you plan on doing that sort of driving. Hoosier A7, R7, Toyo R888 etc.
@zmax7658 ай бұрын
Yes sir, this really needed to be said. It is a drag radial not a track tire 👍

Thank you for this!!!!

i think he knows that, he literally said in his video he only did that for the look cus he needed a specific size to receive the desired look and it only came with that tire, i'm sure when he tracks he'll switch them out
@Fa5_hev8 ай бұрын
At this point it’s a tradition if you need to sell it tj sell it that way next year you come back even stronger like you do every year
@BrockDM18 ай бұрын
@@RyannMZ if you listen in the video he says "it's going to see track time. I hope the tires dont just disintegrate". It was certainly implied he planned on using the tires that are on it.

"Because i wanted to see if i could do it" is what makes this entire build make sense. This industry would never evolve without people who attempt things never done before. Props for making this build happen and pushing the boundaries!

TJ, please keep in mind that when people form around you, is because either you’re their idol, absolutely an inspiration (we all know that), wants to be your friend and not just by watching your videos to feel apart of, or you have made an impact to people’s lives or possibly be that being yourself in front of others is a self reflection of kindness that people see in you that they couldn’t be. The positive vibes and energy attracts attention for sure… The power to change and make an impact to others is a very powerful thing. It’s a blessing.

Absolutely love the m4 build, personally I wish it could be lower but I understand the way the kit sits it raises the the fender arch so high it makes it impossible to slam without the use of bags
@agen1man8 ай бұрын
He said in the previous video that the rear diffuser is what's keeping it from going lower. At that point I'd figure something out with it since this height looks really bad imo. It's not a rally car...
@MX3048 ай бұрын
It has nothing to do with bags. The race car has completely different sub frames and suspension geometry that allows them to be so low. If you dumped this car on bags, the diff would be laying on the ground before the tires tucked as much as the race car.

To address the fitment issue I would extent the fenders downward somehow, this would make the fitment look more flush and keeps the ride height the same so you dont rub the diffuser. Don't know if it would look good, its just an idea. Maybe it would look great.
@wbass2438 ай бұрын
That was a $100,000 factory kit that was designed for racing. To make a general public appealing kit would require enough customers to design something from BMW. Basically he would have to be a designer for BMW. They have their own designers. What you are asking is the level of kit where only a handful of people can afford it. Now . Can it be done? Yes. But Teej already said that is an end goal and he has no idea how he will make it there. This is something to be obtained years down the road where he can retire and has "silly" money to burn and throw away. The guy is still funding his new garage.. give it a few years.
