I LOVE those Journey Into Fear Comic Books! I believe that the first 2 shown have Bernard Bailey Art on the Cover - I might be wrong though. :€)

A "Strange Mysteries #1-- 9.8 would be about $27,000... that's the one you want to find. 👍 Your Horror comics are truly amazing, Brother! Going to be worth alot more when graded. Good books. Amazing condition on some of the spiderman. I imagine gold horror is alot harder to sell than those. I know I prefer spidey.

We love Spidey but see it all the time. We seldom see any precode horror in quantity, let alone several thousand books at once.

jabezcreed it’s not that, it’s that there preserving the books and keeping history alive! They already know the stories and there trying to make a profit

@@raspygamer7764 I think jabezcreed means how there could be countless great multitudes of comic boxes hidden all over the world inside basements, attics, dungeons, big ass abandon houses or warehouses or dry storages and tornado bunkers.. just sitting there waiting for someone to DISCOVER them 😂😂👍🍺

Raspy Gamer I own a large number of Golden and Platinum Age comics (ten boxes worth) and there’s no way I would ever want to slab them in a CGC holder because I love reading and re-reading them and appreciate the interior stories and art too much, so I pretty much settle for keeping them in several acid free boxes and backing boards along with Mylar bags. If I wasn’t ever going to read and re-read them and I had no appreciation of my comics collection beyond being a commodity that might be another matter but that’s not the case. That’s not to say I don’t handle them EXTREMELY CAREFULLY when I do read them, most of them do date back some eighty five years and earlier after all. 😉

Oh I don't deny there's a collectible value to a rare comic, but all those comics will get bought by wealthy collectors and stashed in a bank vault. There's no value as a comic book, only as a speculative investment for future selling...or maybe just for someone to say they own something they can't read. It just makes me sad that they have reached the end of their lives as readable comic magazines and now will be entombed.
