A good way to look at Shar and Selune's relationship is that they both said "my way or the highway" at the same time. But neither of them wanted to go the highway themselves, they wanted the other to go the highway route, they wanted their way. So they tried to kill each other.

My Divination wizard is a fanatic of Beshaba, Mistress of Misfortune. She basically tries to bring misfortune upon others to avoid Beshaba actually noticing her. The attention of the Goddess of bad luck is not something you actually want, so her worship is basically trying NOT to be noticed by your god. It’s super interesting and really fun to play. I’d love to see you guys cover Beshaba and Tymora. These two are critically under appreciated and i’d love to hear how Brain has worked them into his games 😊 Keep it coming ya’ll!

Everyone's pronunciation is valid to themselves, I'm not gonna hate. I, personally, use "say-loon" and was very disappointed when basically no one in BG3 said it the way I do lol.

So, I'm not 100% certain its fully intentional, it would probably take a deep dive documenting who says what etc, but quite a few of the IP-specific names in BG3 are pronounced more than one way bu different characters, and it made me think they were trying to imply regionalisms involved. Which, if true, is some subtle and amazing worldbuilding that also encompasses how people IRL may pronounce these made up words different ways.

My second character just died in our Icewind Dale campaign and now I'm playing a Level 3 Shifter, 2 Paladin, 1 Hexblade Warlock (Crystal Dragon Shard Patron) who's a follower of Selune. So the fact that you guys literally put this video out right when I needed to learn more about Selune is fucking great! This is a fun and informational video. 😆💖💯

*It blows my mind that a fantasy world like Dungeons & Dragons, Baldurs Gate and any other video game or tabletop game takes place in the DnD world is so intricate & makes the world feel like a real world... Especially Baldurs Gate games since the choices you make heavily affect the story of the games... The authors that made DnD's world is genius for sure... or course the community, I'm sure, has made lots of content and lore as well for DnD's universe.*

A meteor must have hit the moon and made a crater. No, actually it was a giga powered dragon laser beam during the ancient dragon times in an attempt to undo an ancient Elvish spell of insane power that 'plagues' Toril to this day. But the dragons missed their target and hit the moon. :) hope that helps.

4:05 that's because in ancient times dragons shot it with a rail gun, and no, I'm not making it up. Elves performed a high magic ritual, that cursed the dragons to go insane when a specific comet comes around every 100 years, to prevent dragons from building an empire. The dragons tried to shoot the comet down while it was in deep space, but miscalculated and hit the moon instead
