Have you seen this type of canvas before? This diptych is special. I love a rainbow color palette because it can mean something different to everyone, but I think it's about joy, happiness and hope. This creation represents night and day - which one is your favorite?

Today's Tutorial Information:
▶ Technique: Dutch Pour
▶ Pouring Medium formula: My paints are mixed with just water! Yes that's right... only a paint and water mixture. It's a 1:1 ratio - and I can do that because I'm using good quality paints with a good binder.
▶ Color Palette:
Amsterdam - pyrrole red, vermillion, nickel titan yellow, permanent green deep, brilliant blue, ultramarine violet. titanium white, lamp black.
Daler Rowney: Indigo
▶ Hair dryer: When I use a hair dryer I use the Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting and the lowest blow speed.

I do love them both; however, if I had to make a choice, it would be the black side. I like the moodiness of it. Again, I do like both and love them together. Something totally different. Thanks. Denise ❤

Very beautiful, Mark!!! Both sides have their own charm. The white one os like fresh colours spreading happy energy, meanwhile the black one has mystic aurora borealis vibes. It's too hard for me to decide which one I like better and I think - if you asked me everyday - my favourite would change frequently, depending on my mood. Anyway, great job and I would hang it on the wall with the white piece to the bottom and the black one on top 🖒💖

A year ago I remember you usung these canvas'. I named it Strawberry and Chocolate Ice Cream cake. You used the swipe technique. It was so fun to rewatch it after I watched this one. I love the colors and technique od this one as well. Beautiful! Those canvas' are unique I must add as well.

On the black one I see a creepy face in the yellow and red bit near the edge, doesn't matter which way you showed it, it was there. Love the shape of the canvases.

Hello Mark. I really like the black side. It remains me on Aurora Borealis. I can imagine this paintings on some darker grey-metallic base, maybe board, or so something, as one art. I just love both sides they are both beautiful in there own way but I’m just but I’m just not sure about the big purple section on one half and the blue section on the other side,to me they are just to bold and really stand out too much but I do know that it’s hard not to stop this from happening without spoiling the competition of the entire piece,my paintings always have this bold bit in the middle aswell and sometimes it looks great but sometimes I just don’t like how it dries out but you really have done an amazing job with them and I love these canvas,i have never seen them in Australia but I suppose I could give it a try on a round canvas and do one part at a time 💗
