This match was brilliant. The fact that it was a race to 10, no shootout, is what 10-ball and 9-ball must be. The fact that it wasn't two sets to four was a plus too. Let the players play! My only issue is that the shot clock makes pool too much of a speed test. Again, let the players play! Instead of a 30 second shot clock, extend the shot clock to 45 seconds.

Watch in 0.25 speed. Cue ball hits rail, hits 2 ball, immediatelly hits rail again and then rolls the same direction as the 2 ball. The 2 ball hit and rail after contact happen a split second apart making it hard to see.

When filming pool, less is more. Viewers cannot see the evolution of a shot when the camera is zoomed in to the point that no other balls are visible other than the cue ball and the object ball. A viewer therefore cannot track the play. This interferes with the enjoyment of the content.

@@chili015 I kinda figured. It was a somewhat rhetorical comment. Then he should have an American flag icon. But to play that card of banning a Russian flag icon based on some very dubious propaganda assumptions about who's the good guys and who's is the bad guys is childish and completely out of place in this billiard venue. What is happening there is a travesty indeed. I watch this stuff because I am a pool player and I don't appreciate the incessant infiltration of this type of propaganda into every aspect of our lives. That garbage has no place here. In the Philippines. Pool tournament adopted a very interesting format!!! It's a 10ball tournament.. Alternate break.. And the interesting part is there is no runout!!! If a player makes a ball on the break. He has to either push out. Or play safety!! Very interesting!!! You can witness how good a player is in every field of the game in term of pocketing. Safety shots and breaking.

Call me a purist or whatever, I do not care for the accouncer calling it a break off. This is pool, pocket billiards..... Hitting the rack is, has been, and should be called a break. @hectorvelis8896
@hectorvelis8896 Жыл бұрын
Its called a break off in snooker cause the objective is to hit the rack from the corner softly breaking off a few reds and bringing the cue ball back down behind the D (the line of yellow green and brown balls) and snooker them. Its not a full break so thats why its a break off, wouldnt use it in billiards though since it is a full break
