@Mal Ommi failure is the best teacher The more L's he takes early on, the less he takes in the future. Technically, losing once is better than winning all your games in the second selection cause you get to play and improve more.

Naruhaya was not confident or saying that he is on same level as Isagi when he challenged him, his point is they are the ones on the edge since they are paired with players considered as geniuses, and they both want to acquire said geniuses so basically he is inviting him to challenge each other because at the end either one of them is gonna get disqualified.

No, he definitely was, but his point is that Isagi is nothing without other good players (which Nagi even points out, and Michael and Raph agree with). Especially in a 2v2 situation where the individual prowess of players is way more important, and Isagi's strengths, his spatial awareness and positioning, are less important.

@Red Chasseur neither did Naruhaya in the first selection... Both of them are tied for the worst player on team Z. We never got to see Imamura in the second selection, so it's difficult to rate his skill level in comparison to Naruhaya.
