அருமை..அருமை! இப்போதான் புரிகிறது தமிழின் பெருமை. தமிழுக்கு ஏற்பட்டுள்ள வறுமை இனியும் வேண்டாம் பொறுமை தம்பி தமிழ்போல் மாறுவோம் தமிழரெல்லாம் அதுதான் மாவீரர்நாள்.

"Tamizh nammudaiya unarvu.. Athai vaithu arasiyal seyya koodaathu." a wonderful dialogue meaning "Tamil is our feeling. We should not do politics with it". Ithu oru miga puthumayana muyarchi, naam ethai maranthu vittom endru enna vaikkindra padam. Nammai ariyaamalaye naame tamizhai azhikindrom endru unartha koodiya padam. Intha padathin iyakkunarukum, nadigargalukum melum melum vetri pera naan vaazhthugiren. Tamizh valarattum. I actually didn't know how to insert tamizh comments, so typed it in English...

நன்று மிக்க நன்று புதுமை தமிழனுக்கு எந்தன் வாழ்த்துக்கள் மற்றும் நன்றியை தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கிறேன் ....................................... யாமறிந்த மொழிகளிலே தமிழ்மொழி போல் இனிதாவது எங்கும் காணோம், பாமரராய் விலங்குகளாய், உலகனைத்தும் இகழ்ச்சிசொலப் பான்மை கெட்டு, நாமமது தமிழரெனக் கொண்டு இங்கு வாழ்ந்திடுதல் நன்றோ? சொல்லீர்! தேமதுரத் தமிழோசை உலகமெலாம் பரவும்வகை செய்தல் வேண்டும்.

தமிழா உன்னை பார்த்து பெருமை அடைகிறேன் தொடரட்டும் உனது பணி,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

அவசியமான , அழகான படைப்பு. வாழ்த்துக்கழ். படித்த பகுதி 'இதற்க்கு ஆரம்பமும் நாமாக இருப்போம்' என்று முடித்தது. இங்கு வரிகள் ஆங்கிழாத்திழூம் இறுப்பதற்கு 'ஒறு மொழி அதன் பழமையாழ் மட்டூம் பொது சமுதாயத்தை கவற மடியாது' என்பதுற்க்கு சான்றாக இறுப்ததாகவே உணறூகிறேன்.

தமிழ் தேய்ந்து கொண்டு இருந்தாலும் என்னை போலவே நிறைய பேர் எண்ணம் கொண்டு இருப்பதால் அழிந்து விடாது என்ற நம்பிக்கை உள்ளது. ஒளிப்பதிவு மிகவும் நன்றாக உள்ளது. கதா நாயகனின் நடிப்பு ரொம்ப அருமை. தமிழிலே பேசினால் எங்கே ஆங்கிலம் தெரியாது என்று நினைத்து விடுவார்களோ இல்லை நமது அரை குறை ஆங்கிலமும் கெட்டு விடுமோ என்ற பாதுகாப்பற்ற உணர்வு தமிழில் பேசாமைக்கு ஒரு முக்கிய காரணம் என்று நான் நினைக்கிறேன்.

சிறப்பான நன் முயற்சி. தமிழ் மொழி காக்க எடுக்கப்பட்ட இம்முயற்சிக்கு எங்கள் பண்பாட்டு நடுவத்தின் சார்பில் பாராட்டுகள் . எனினும் இப்படத்தில் ஒரு சிறிய பிழை உள்ளது என்பதை உணர்தல் வேண்டும். அரசியல்வாதியின் கூற்றை நீங்கள் மறுப்பதாக உள்ளது. அந்த இடத்தில அரசியல்வாதியின் தகவல் தான் நேர்மையானது . பிற மொழிகளின் தாக்கத்தில் இருந்து தமிழை காப்பதும் காலத்தின் கட்டாயம் . அதை அவர் உணர்த்துகிறார் . ஆனால் நாயகன் அதை மறுக்கிறார். இந்த காட்சி படத்தின் தத்துவத்தை குழைத்து விட்டது . இவ்வளவு அழகாக படம் எடுத்து விட்டு அந்த காட்சியை வைக்காமல் இருந்திருக்கலாம் . நெருடல். - இராச்குமார் பழனிசாமி, தமிழர் பண்பாட்டு நடுவம்

I have been living in Germany for several years now. My caplitalistic salveristic attitude towards usage of my mother tounge has been changed over past 11 years. I talk only in tamil with my friends and family..I mean just tamil.. I admire the Germans or any Europeans, how they conserve their mother tounge. There many reasons, one shall say that the German state has less cultural diveristy, patriotic people and all. But important parameter in the equation is, it is a knowledged based soceity, their technological innovation stands out..and their languge is at the center of innovation..so they have high pride in Made in Germany Label and abiovuly on their language..and But Tamil ?? Yes alright India has diversity and so you need a common language. Agreed but..are we nice and friendly people who are tolerent to adultry of mother tounge or technologically incapable people?...culturally supeirior but inferior in innovation? when we do more research in Tamil, are we then more capable in competeting in the materialistic world? probably when we we prosper our language will also proprosper along with rich litrature and culture???? I dont know..but play my part ..I am doing my research about new energy technologies and it has been always aboyt and now it is about India, mostly tamil nadu and write some of my technical papers in tamil..I am just blessed have this rich language as my mother tounge.

A Very good effort. Thanks! But, there is a statement in the video, which says that learning Tamil is difficult. Tamil is the easiest language in the world to learn, as it has a structure, which is not well understood. It is the most logical language as it has been developed by Scientists i.e., Siddhars like Siva, Muruga, Agathiya etc., through Sangams. very interesting short film. Media is the main source to spread these thoughts. Tamil film makers should follow this. Tamil cinema has a huge following all over the world. When sensible cinema is made, language and culture will automatically will have a following for it. this was the case in 1950s to 1970s, when people watched cinemas just for songs,because the lyrics were moving and related to reality. Hope the era comes back to present cinema. ( my thoughts are not bringing back the same movies or the same acting), but u cannot deny the value of culture behind it

found few mistakes in this video, @ 4:23 there is no body noticed an old lady while shooting, in london... we can find a lady like her.

Is coffee and tea found by tamilians. Then why should we use tamil words for that. English has grown this far since it inherits words from latin, french and even hindi and Tamil. We always find an alternative word in tamil for every english words. For Example, Internet - inayathalam Train - pugai vandi( Now every train in electric so we changed to min thodar vandi) We should not find alternate words In english dictionary you can find n number of words from indian language For Example Juggernaut - irresistible force ( derived from kolkata juggernaut temple) Papa - father (derived from hindi) Catamaran - kattu maram What I could say is we should not use verbs like come, go etc while speaking tamil. But it is not wrong to use nouns ( especially the words found by english people like internet, coffee, computer, laptop, train, bus, fan etc) By the way, Acting direction and camera work is very good.
