I agree with Methot. The vast majority of people that grew up around the rink and in the game of hockey don’t like the direction the NHL is going. There’s no animosity, no chaotic action, very little chirping and fighting, every scrum results in a 5 minute delay as refs penalize every little infraction. As somebody who refs youth hockey, those games are 10 times as physical. Bettman is ruining the game.
