This is my favorite pocket knife. Fast flipper deployment and the button to release and drop back into place. I carry this one everyday.

Sencut is coming in hot. Button locks are what people want in 2022. Going to be honest I prefer the design of the Sencut Brazoria. But I prefer this 9CR to the D2 of the Brazoria. Overall this looks like a EDC winner.

Really looking forward to a long term review carry on this one as I am a little leery about button locks and the problems associated with them over long term usage. I would love to grab one like this as they appear to be a great knife with good build quality and materials for the price along with great action. Im in no rush though so I'll wait for some long term reviews before I buy one. Thanks for the look see Beez and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.

Sencut's most attractive offering yet. The swedge is fantastic here, giving the spine added dimensionality and suggesting an exaggerated clip. Expertly done, for sure. If this knife came in tropical colors, say tangerine, coral, aquamarine, it could have been even Sachse-er.

Great looking design. My only gripe is that for the price that Sencut is at, you can get some other brand with a bit higher steel such as Kizer. Sencut and Civivi are creeping up there with their prices. Thanks for the review Beez

People really underestimate 9cr18mov Steel. It actually has decent edge retention, and actually pretty close to steels like 154cm. For $45, I'm not complaining at all.

I like that Sachse better than the Civivi branded button locks. I also really like that they used 9cr. 9cr18mov and 14c28n should be the standard stainless on budget knives. Easy to touch up and easy to sharpen while taking on an insanely sharp edge. With the Beez discount I think the price is right. This will go on the wishlist for next month. I won't be too worried about getting anything new for a bit since my Original has finally shipped out and will get here by Friday!!! Have a good one Beez.

People say it is a bland knife, a "knife-shaped object", to quote Nick Shabazz, but I think that is this knife strength. The very ting I love the most about the Sachse is exactly how it is a no-nonsense, unsophisticated and unassuming it is. It's just an enjoyable EDC knife without any pretense, no weird quriks and no "HOW COOL AM I?" vibe, but executed almost flawlessly. It's my second Sencut after Watauga, which leaves an impression of being way more fierce and spectacular. Incidentally the way they open also reflects the difference. Watauga seems to have the life of its own, with proper moves it opens and closes almost as fast as an assisted knife. It behaves like it was hungry of cutting. Sachse is more, uh, "deliberate". The action is flawless, but more buttery and elegant. Watauga is "Convince your buddy button locks are badass and crazy fast knives!" knife; Sachse is a "Convince your buddy button locks are useful and safe knives!" kind of knife.

I don't believe it matters most of the time. Most of the time, however the open ends of the bearings are facing the direction of the blade or liners that have the round cutout. That's why I put them back the same way.

I purchased two of these. One is the G10 natural non coated blade and it is flawless in every way. The second one is the coated blade/green micarta. The coated knife has obvious tolerance issues as the deployment sucks and fails on a regular basis. When I disassembled it to investigate further the bearings were bone dry. But even after oiling the knife still does not free up until I back the pivot screw off until I have side blade play at lockup. To top it off the button is sticky. The knife sucks. The customer service answered but wants pictures and a video. I just stay to busy for that. Quality control is lacking. 3 civivi and 2 sencuts in the last two weeks with a bad knife from each brand? I will look to another brand.
