When I was a little girl, my grandpa used to sing this song in church. He would stand up, eyes closed and sing this song from inside his soul. I still see him singing this song in my heart. I truly believe he is in the place of peace, waiting for Christ to take him up to Heaven. He really did send timber to Heaven on a daily basis.

This is a beautiful rendition that showcases the wonderful, melodic, emotional styles of a time long moved into the past, although which sounds as good today as they did back then. To me, there has never been a decent reason for groups not to continue in this style. Everyone who hears a song like this finds great pleasure and various levels of inspiration, so what would be the purpose for a discontinuation? After all, and this is still just me, why not add new styles into the mix than believe we must replace one with another? Isn't there room for them all? This kind of singing, with a slightly slower vibrato and excellent representations of instruments using the old harmony style, cannot, nor should not, ever be relegated to old time music, or yesterday's music, or anything short of excellent for the discriminating ear.
