Me: "Alrighty then....!"
Though it wasn't really a request, I was nudged to put together another arte exhibition. This time it's for my favorite tales character, Senel Coolidge. Granted, this one is longer than Regal's because I wanted to test out a longer opening and what not (he IS my favorite character and all), but the pattern is essentially the same. These are kind of addictive! xD (Make sure to watch until the end).
Songs: Awakening (Tales of Legendia), Balance (Mr.Driller Land; and yes, it was produced by Go Shiina)
Annotations: White- Base Eres, Red- Arcane Eres, Green - Senel's Throws, Light Blue - Compund Eres
(Once again I own nothing in this video. I merely PRODUCED the results you see).
EDIT: 1000 views, alright! Might do a remake of this in the near future to those who come across it :)

We had plenty of strong characters who can lift huge things in the Tales of series. However, Senel is the only one who can do it in actual battle.

I understand this game gets hate on a lot but I don’t think it was a bad game. The combat system was a lot of fun. The “pick up and slam the downed enemy” was such an awesome mechanic that I never got tired of doing either.

Senel Coolidge is just so powerful....I mean hes up there with people like Kratos Aurion, Jade Curtis, and Stahn Alterain. When you play legendia you'll see what I mean the guy is a walking death machine waiting to happen

All of ToL physical hitters are strong but Jay is insane. Dungeons are long and boring with annoying random encounters. Good thing Jay mows mobs like grass.

I always thought this teals soundtrack was amazing ! It was the best thing about this game ! They should remake this game with a updated battle system

@Vercsase Fortunately, Senel, Shirley, Will, Jay, Chloe, and Norma got their Sacred Eres/Hi-Ougis in Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3.

Senel has been my #1 favorite character for 6 years now but i just now realized i might name my first born son Senel! sounds good with my last name, sounds nice in Spanish, you can make it short and say Senny (i think Norma did this already tho) and its SENEL!!! I mean Senel is the man, who wouldnt name their kid after him.. so Senel comes first, then Leon. hahaha idk about girl names..

They should really remake this game like they did to Tales of Destiny. I never played the game or read the story of it, but I have seen the characters in it. Those are great characters.

In one of the skits with characters from other Tales games, Senel throws an anchor when someone makes him mad. I think it's because they were badmouthing him when they thought he'd made out with Shirley.

Nah, the legendia cast had planned hi-ougis, they just weren't put into the game. I just put them in this exhibition because I need something flashy to go out on :p

Actually there aren't many moves that originated in symphonia that showed up in other games xD. Most of the moves in Tales came from the first Tales game, Tales of Phantasia, since it was the FIRST game. Any Demon Fang or Tiger Blade or Tempest or Phoenix wannabe all stems from Phantasia :P

Yea i'll admit that there's a lot that could've been done MUCH better with Legendia. After finishing my third playthrough, I can say that it feels much longer than other Tales games. The system is also slower than other 3D Tales. It's all based on your experience though. I played Legendia after Abyss (my first) and Phantasia, and even after playing the first 8 Tales (including Destiny PS2) this is still my favorite. It really appeals story and character-wise, and the music speaks for itself. :D

Well the first song is from the Voice of Character Quest Vol.2, which I own. The main song that plays, Balance, I forgot where i got it (and some of the rest of the Mr.Driller soundtrack) from. How bout I just send you a PM? :D

well yea,but most of the tales series has an hi ougi to wrap up a match, nonetheless tol is still very enjoyable though the story is kinda short. remake?doubt there would be tol2 or any any remake like TOD

Well they were meant to be there, which is cool enough for me. Legendia characters are too epic for hiougis anyway ;) ...but seriously it would be nice if they were added to a remake
