Somehow, cant blame the kid. Mom has to show at least some emotions towards him so there will be no miscommunication. It saved all the drama.

Agreed. Trying to make a tear jerker with a mum "secretly" loving her son is pointless.

Sadly, it's just the way a lot of Asian parents treat their kids because it's always been the norm. Not good to normalise it but. Good to call attention to it.

Last ad show mother who through hard life to give good life for her boy than she don't impress the feeling but through action behind her boy.

The last one, the mother should have showed her love through talking, showing emotions than keeping quiet until she dropped dead. The boy did suffer, felt left out of love when the mother was so cold...what is the point in the end?

You are missing the point of the ad is not to auppornt this issue but to make a change that's the child need love and care from his family more then focusing on his futur insurnes

That's exactly what I was thinking! All he wanted was for her to listen to him. If she would have clearly spoken up instead of expecting him to read her mind he wouldn't have left her in the first place.

yes i felt the same i dont like the excuse of I love you when you do nothing to prove it i love you does not mean her gifting him a computer but making someone feel unloved is the worst thing a person can do especially a parent

Im with you. But ive also seen a lot of parents who have absolutely no idea how to express their love to their kids. Maybe the target demographic of this ad is the parent?

well...he could ask his mom to try to spend her time with him..but he asked for a computer instead and also thats pretty much cash not attention and care... but if you are going to make a comment about insults or shit then go on after all it's just a commercial :)

Ok, the last video is a touching one but it unintentionally got comedic for me because the last words were ในชีวิต (Nai chiwit) which translates into “in this life”...but my iPad got triggered to launch Siri... 🙄

Look the people who are blaming the mom, the matter is Asians are really bad at showing emotion especially between parents and children, we know they love us but it is hard for us to describe.

Well not every asian are really bad about it and i wanna ask you is it that hard for your parents or the one that you know to just say good job to their kids when they got good grades? It doesn't have to be like in the movies you know...i mean your kids isnt a dumb-dumb

Well, i'm asian, and my parent always showing their emotion about my happiness, my bad day, my achievement and all whatever i've done, they respons to it.
