Senggigi Lombok, This is the current situation of Senggigi , this is the town and hard to see tourist here at the moment, still beautiful I came here 7 years ago and I was busy and now this place is dead and many abounded building.

Hope you, Amanda and the girls have had a fabulous holiday. Lombok looks nice but I think too quiet for me. They need to have direct flights from Australia even if it’s only one flight per day. That would really help Lombok as we could fly direct then fly to Bali for some time and then home from Bali.

I chose Senggigi over Kuta because it's quiet, it's definitely sad for the locals but I don't like really busy places so I'm happy to go and support a town that needs it

The earthquake did a lot of damage to Senggigi followed by covid and a lot of buildings were never repaired.just left to rot which is a shame. The three storey building in the square had only lost a few roof tiles but they were too lazy to repair them and the rains came through and destroyed the buildings. Very sad!

Looks like some of the buildings also cracked just mix problems at the moment there
