You do have chargers at the end stops (you need to remember to deselect the option when creating new routes). Also you could make more money by running Route 1 24/7 (basically make it so that the first service is at 00:00 and the last service is at 23:30), so you always have buses out making money, given that you have high passenger demand anyway.

Key tip for you, dont buy the small solar panels, just build a large parking space and build the solar panels that go over the top of the parking space, do this with the large spaces first, as they cost the same for what ever space but you get 2x as much electricity from the large space. Edit, 37 minute in and you just rejected a phone call to buy your bus, WHY????? You could have sold that bus and brought a brand new one making you about £7000. Whenever someone phones you to buy a bus, SELL IT. Just had a thought come to me, so if you only use the electric buses on route 1, that one has a charging station at the primary stop, so every time your electric bus goes to that stop, it will charge up a little for free, well not free as you paid £££££ for the charger, LOL. But its free to keep that little bit of extra charge in the bus. Also, if you adjust your route 1 timetable so that when it gets to that stop the bus stays there for 5 minutes, this will ensure the bus has constant charge.

Concerning if a bus is on a route or not, if you look at the bus' properties, there are 2 spots that will tell you if it is assigned currently OR later. If it is currently assigned, centered at the top (right under the Name of the Bus) it will say something like Deives Shift TIME . If it has an upcoming assignment that is down a bit further.. about the of the box where is says 'Next Shift' it will tell you whst it is doing next if it has another assignment
