Three-division world champion Emanuel “Vaquero” Navarrete will defend his WBO junior lightweight world title against former two-division world champion Oscar Valdez in an all-Mexican duel Saturday, August 12 at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. Navarrete and Valdez seek to etch their names among the celebrated catalog of Mexican rivalries that includes Marco Antonio Barrera-Erik Morales, Ruben Olivares-Chucho Castillo and Rafael Marquez-Israel Vazquez.

Im a mex/american and i would very ashamed of myself if i didn't speak spanish ! The reason a lot of Mex/americans don't speak spanish is because they try to perceive themselves as something that they're not because of stereotypes ! But regardless they can never get away with removing that cactus or NOPAL as we like to say in spanish that we portray right on our foreheads !

You are an ignorant. You realize that there are Mexican Americans whose families have been in places like Texas, California, Arizona for more than 5 generations… why would they speak Spanish? Depending on how they were raised and where is also a big influence but none more than the parents. Every place is not Texas, California, Arizona where a majority of people speak Spanish.

I blame the parents first, second them cause if you have the time you can learn it later as an adult like selena did, if your first gen mexican American you should not be speaking English to your kid inside the household they can speak English in school or outside but these 1d10ts don't bother to enforce that crucial rule an it gets lost overtime like you see here I look at that 5th gen mexican American who host WHAT WOULD YOU DO he speaks Spanish and Eva Longoria her family been same area when Spain ran it then mexico then it was republic of Texas then this Texas but she's so proud of her mexican culture and speaks Spanish before she met her full blooded mexican husband from mexico city

@@gissel7768 sounds easy to say huh ?? Let's not forget, your community is relatively new in this country. But Mexicans and particularly those who have a few generations here or were already here ( aka Californianos, Tejanos, Nuevo Mexicanos, etc ... ) were frowned upon , discriminated and looked down upon by the majority at the time in the south west which was white. This was also an issue in the educational system. It must be good coming here after those who have been here and went through the struggles that they did by trying to maintain their identity ( Mexican ) and pushing forward as such. Nowadays everybody coming here from south of Mexico can arrive here without speaking spanish throughout all the major cities where they settle and not have to worry about speaking English because the foundations are already laid out for them. So yeah, that's the reason why you wouldn't know better why people like us within our Raza did it.

Seniesa won hands down! That other broad didn't engage enough! Judges look at who puts the pressure and throws more punches! Also Yokasta jumped in the ring as if she was going to do something but seniesa put her and her trainer in their place like a true champ! Yokasta will not beat seniesa but she will look super hot trying! 😂😂 . Idk I mean yoka made a point. Selling out stadiums is pretty impressive and she’s a big star in Costa Rica. Estrada knows deep down that she’s not the draw in women’s boxing like she think she is.
