@@wallbangerreactions Was surprised you didn't mention it, but they utilize it a LOT in their songs, and have several different ones on standby to cover different octaves. Every member is really tight, and as far as I know, they do a majority of their sound engineering both live and in studio. Your takes on everything was killer and you're probably right about some of the effect choices to make them more accessible, but things like that have become rather common tendencies of theirs, and have more or less grown to the ears of frequent fans. As you said, they seem phenomenal live (they used to have two drummers as well, haha)

@@wallbangerreactions that singers mic is almost always given that effect. For some reason they choose to distort their vocals. My hypothesis is they want their voices to sound like another electronic instrument that you can choose to listen to harmonically or really dig in and learn the lyrics. I think that’s why they have lots of repetitive phrases in songs.
