i went to a private school for a few years, and it was hella boring they literally spent most money on stupid shit like hella IMACs, and macbooks and no one even uses them. They don't spend any money for us to have stuff like in the video!! and the formal which is like homecoming it costs $1000 for you and your partner to go to! but now im not in that school anymore so i dont pay stupid fees that dont even make sense!

For everyone saying why you're High School isn't like this. Please know that this is a produced video. it's edited, and the only parts that are into this video are the best moments. Most of their time studying or in a class room are edited out. I swear to god, I've watched my own schools' film like this one and I was like, "i don't remember my school looking this cool" I swear school isn't always like this. Plus, the experience is what you make out of it.

It’s true, this video is beautifully produced and accentuates the highlights of the 2018 year, but let’s not throw out the fact that these experiences actually happened...like this...in real time. Not of this is staged or made-up content, these are the real life experiences of students in our school. Not everyone at the school looks back and sees the same thing, but we can all agree that our school provides some amazing opportunities for student life, outside of the classroom. If you choose to participate, this is the memory you’ll have. If you choose not to, you’ll have a completely different perspective. To all of the people posting that the school is rich, we aren’t. We are a “normal” high school, we just know how to use what we do have to make things good. And yes, we’re lucky to be in Southern California, nice weather...but that’s not what makes a high school experience great. We just finished up HoCo this year and had 1000 kids come to a free night rally in our gym, just to have fun together. Culture is what you, the students, make it! Get involved at your school and make these experiences your reality.

Millikan ASB it’s still kind of wrong to assume your high school is “normal”. Your high school is way more privileged than a majority of schools in America. We don’t have the money or resources to have what you have despite students having spirit. I’m not bashing your school but it’s kinda wrong to not recognize that you guys are privileged.

That’s fair. We are super lucky to be part of a District that really supports students, in and out of the classroom. It’s easy for us to forget that that isn’t normal for everyone. For our area, we aren’t considered “rich”, but you’re right, it’s all relative.

@@Luke-or4lz It's an awesome venue pretty close to our school. We are lucky to be located close to a ton of nice venue options. Our HoCo dance though, (which is also in the video), is on campus and low cost, but still awesome! It not about how much you have, it's about how you use what you've got!

Regardless of how disappointed I look back in my highschool years, I am making a promise to myself. If I ever have a son or a daughter I will make sure she or he has the best possible and most memorable and epic highschool experience that I never had. Love ❤

And the rich part just referred to how more attractive people tend to get better jobs bc of the the unfair system. If attractive people got the good paying jobs then their children would be attractive and have their daddy's money. I never said that their schools were rich.

bruh i cried because this is supposed to be what senior year is like, this is how i wished i spent mine. not stressing out and losing sleep because of 5 AP classes, not constantly arguing with my dad to the point that i felt so scared to stay in my own room, not skipping all the assemblies because they were always so lifeless, not worrying about so much shit that an ‘adult should start thinking about’ simply because i turned 18. senior year was the most fucking stressful and worse years of my life and this video just proves how messed up it was and how much it messed me up. class of 2020 kids, LIVE

This video was so beautifully edited wow. As a someone who’s graduating college next spring, this really made me reminisce my highschool days. Life is really never the same after highschool, there’s so many people I haven’t seen since graduation day lol. So to the ones still in highschool reading this, enjoy those memories!! ❤️

Reese James literally none of this. the fun things my school does is prom and an amusement park at the end of last year at school. that’s it. we don’t have big games, winter formal or any type of huge events. our weather is also bad 85% of the times. still love it tho and wouldn’t trade it for anything

This was so beautiful. Seeing how amazing it is to be in highschool, living your life to the fullest with the happiest smiles, waiting to seek the beauty in life, seeing how awesome it is to make friends, go to sport games , dances , pep rally’s . this for sure brought me to tears. it’s sad because you grow older and never get to go to highschool again and live that time. you usually don’t talk to the people you were friends with or knew after graduation. i am not in highschool yet but thank you for this . it makes me think that all this time, i thought school was horrible and i didint like getting up in the morning to now i want to go to school and have that beautiful smile on my face so i can have the best years in my life. this really made me happy. i for sure will cry at my graduation. and people say that i have a while till that. but just think , it seems like forever but you can blink one time and your already there . i am in eighth grade and about to go to high school. i am a bit nervous but know since i saw this , it’s not as bad as it looks . it’s awesome and just because you have to do tests and homework and study for things, it just is a head start in life. we have more to come . i just want to say this meant a lot and brung me to tears. happy tears. thank you for reading if you did. i want my years to be the best of the best . i will graduate 2023. all those teenagers will have kids maybe and be older . they will look back and be happy that they enjoyed their years.
