May I ask if this needs to be connected to a laptop or CPU system of some sort (BYOD) to work? or is this a standalone device (using sennheiser mobile app) would do to manage the controls while using it?

Very interesting, can you also just use them as speakers if you only have a presentation? and if so, can they work as speakers with a Dante input? Do they support Dante audio out to a venue audio system or mixing desk?

Thank you for your question! Please see our answers below: Q: Can you just use them as speakers? A: Yes - but only via USB and BT! Q: Can they work as speakers with Dante Input? A: The Dante inputs are for microphones only - there is always an AEC included at these inputs. Q: Do they support Dante audio out? A: Yes - you can output the conference (near-end + far-end) and also just the far-end audio via Dante. We hope this helps but please feel free to reach out again if you have any further questions.
