I'm thrilled to kick off Episode 1 of my Inspirational Homes Series with my friends Dan & Jeff Weaver-White. They made a simple saltbox house, a home with their love of early antiques, primitives, and an eye for detail in every nook and cranny! I love this house, especially because it is not cluttered. Most houses I see there is so much your eyes get tired. This house was well thought out and just beautiful.

I love all the little teddy bears and the 2 hobby horses. I also like those wonderful crocks throughout and the blanket chests. It's nice that so many things in this house are truly old and not reproductions. Thank you for this beautiful video. ❤

Thank you Rosalie for sharing this beautiful house of Dan and Jeff. Your beautiful videos are very calming and reassuring to watch during the pandemic and this video is my favourite. The owners of this house have the most fabulous taste. I love their antiques, quilts and the child's bedroom with the display of old toys are absolutely enchanting. It takes us back to a much gentler time. I would love to see the new videos featuring Dan and Jeff's home in the future. It will be lovely to see how they decorate their home for spring, autumn and winter. Such eyes, such talent, such taste combined with simplicity and excellence. I wouldn't mind watching even if this video was an hour long.

My grandfather lived on a house exactly like that in granby mass, best memories bc everyone would get together there. I remember it was kind of spooky bc everything was so old. My grandfather's home was built in the 1600's.

We all here on Facebook love Dan and Jeff. They both are an inspiration to all of us not only in how we can get ideas to make our homes more appealing and warm for our families. Dan and Jeff are two very special people for so many.reasons. Dan’s Grandmother gave him so many good things to live by. The one thing she gave him so much of that he passes on is Love.

Honestly, this is the best primitive, colonial home tour that I’ve ever seen! I had to stop watching at 7:08 because I started crying! There is absolutely no one that I know that decorates like me! But here you all are! I feel I know Dan because I read all of his articles in The Primitive Place. Dan is not only a skilled writer, but I get the sense that he genuine and a wonderfully kind person. I cannot thank you enough for this!

This is really well done. Everything is balanced and just flows. The kitchen looks great with all modern appliances, you did achieve the look. I think its the right thing to do too. Ahh my dream home this house is gorgeous! Totally my style decor, love that ivory paint color, that everything goes with, and the colors of the wood work. The floor plan is exactly what ive always wanted. Walk in, forier, big room on right big room on left. Love the black spindle chairs.. This is perfect! I know they have some money in that furniture! Super Jelous! lol
