Can I ask is there a proper way to empty the offerings? What is happening in your thoughts? Thank you. 🙏🏻

Hi Nitin Jadhav, For water offerings, you may discard them in your plants or your garden, if you have one. For food offerings, if the food is still packaged and good to eat, then Rinpoche would usually give it away. If that was not possible, then Rinpoche would discard them in the garden to feed ants and/or break down into the soil. You might also find this article titled "A Quick Note on Food Offerings" to be useful: www.tsemrinpoche.com/?p=210719 Thank you

@@tsemrinpoche Thank you for your very kind answer and the link. I'm form the west and in our culture is throwing food away a very bad thing, because people had hard to work to produce this and people work hard to distribute and sell it to customers. Food is a worthy thing which should treated with respect. Throwing away or discard it in the garden while millions of people starving to death is for me very hard to understand. For my point of view food should be used for that purpose it was made for: feeding people. But maybe this is a kind of mental confusion....

@@holgerdanske3960 In fact, u do so only if food is no longer fresh, in other words, if food is no longer safe to eat.
