Serpentines are fantastic shapes to use in the garden: hedges, paths, border edges, rills, paving patterns. In this video Bunny gets rid of a narrow, high maintenance grass path and replaces it with a stone serpentine path. She illustrates other ways she has used serpentines in the garden often to create movement and interest or to lead from a formal space to an informal. Bunny shows how to set out and form a serpentine.

I just love all the creative things you do with your plants! Hedges, topiary, trellises, stone pieces. A person could sit all day and feast their eyes on your work.

Looks fabulous. So interesting to learn how you worked out what wiggles you wanted and with your daughter's help arrived at a plywood template. And Dave's skill at laying them. Loved this video and learnt something.

Oh God bunny I asked for this video I'm so glad you made this video now. It seems too complicated for me but I'll watch it a few times I'm wondering if it would be so cool if someone could make paper templates like that just paper and sell them to us mere mortals

Happy Easter Bunny! Sorry I couldn't resist ;-) Is there a minimum length for a serpentine pattern for those of us with smaller gardens? Cheers from the Subtropics of Australia!

@12:05 What is the spelling of the plant name that Bunny is going to use in the border? I tried variations on Google of what I thought I heard "sawka caulka"? It sounds interesting to me because of the fragrance and white flowers. Thanks to anyone who can help. 💚🌼😊

So Bunny solved the problematic shade by cutting the top...but anyway let's make that very expensive path 😉 and the resulting path is a lovely foil for the eye but really narrow to be a comfortable walk for anyone with larger feet.
