This was shot in vardø, Norway. The old mans name is Aage Ingolf Nilsen. He was my granddad. He said sentenced was so nice. I miss him alot. It was shot in his house, then later in the "abonned" city called hamningberg.

I read a manga (Japanese comics) named "Killing Me/Killing You". At the end of the first volume the author writes that he was inspired for the comic's name by a song of the same name from a band called "Sentenced". So here I am enjoying this song.

I am almost 50 years old man, living in Oulu. Which is about 25 km to north from Muhos. Sentenced have so much northern stripe spirit in their music. Still listening.👍💪

There are some bands that make the difference during your life, and this one, its one of them.....I really really miss this band....

My favourite song of Sentenced is *Nepenthe*, but this too manages to send shivers down my spine when I listen to it. Plus, the video is great as well.

Their music really hasn't aged. Brings back all the memories of when each album came out as I revisit them now.

2000's was amazing time to be alive. Bands like these were on top of the mainstream charts. These days all I hear from radio is cheesy pop stuff and rap. But still, rock and metal will never die.

Sentenced was so much more than just a band. I miss them so much!

Makes me cry because my Dad died a Pill addict and Alcoholic who couldn't get over the Divorce.....I never realized until listening to this song now how truly our children are a reflection of us.......I have been sober a year but I was a Heroin addict and alcoholic barley made it out alive....My dad has this album he passed on and left me his collection Listened to this song and got really sad......Just now I never understood it till now. I am crying......

It's funny how things turn out. I remember being 8 years old and my dad bringing home a DVD called "Monsters of Rock Vol. 2," I think. Listening to this song, I remember this was my favorite song besides Iced Earth and "The Healer." Anyway, recently I started reading a visual novel called "Gore Screaming Show," and one of the characters mentions her love for Gothic rock and mentions Sentenced. I had completely forgotten about this band, lol.

I always come back to sentenced when times are hard which seems strange but they just have a way of wording what I feel in my heart and soul and it really resonates with me and gives me courage to face them.

I completely fell in love with this song, I can't stop listening to it even if it brings tears to my eyes...

I really start listening to Sentenced with Frozen, at the end of the 90's. Then, Killing me killing you was a blast when I first heard it, Crimson got me, and then The Cold White light an The Funeral Album made Sentenced one of my favorite metal bands! So sad, dark, emotive and powerfull! There are not many so nice farewells.

Coming back to this from time to time.

I used to listen to this song all the time back in Middle School. Haven't listened to it in ages but it's still good as I remember.

What a fucking band !!! I'm listening them since the time they released AMOK !!! Unique sound as a band not like copycat bands that we are full off.

Great band from the northern skyes...

Thank you for this album. I've listened to it non-stop when I was in grade 10 (15 years ago), and it's still as powerful as when I listened to it back then. In hindsight, it's shaped the person I am today. We all need some good metal to give depths to our lives. \m/

It flowed. I felt it was to be taken more seriously and consumed on a deeper level that everything else I had known prior. The darkness, the cold, the class, the song writing, it was the metal that was all of what I wanted to aspire to become. Plus, he somehow sings the word "Killing" three times in the first line of each chorus. Traditional "pop" arrangement of the parts, including post-bridge piano breakdown and vocal key change chorus repetition at the end. The old man dies in his sleep... to the sum of which I thought "Fuck this Ontario town! Finland's metal is already 20 years ahead! I've been a fan ever since, bought all the records, saw them live once in Detroit, sad they broke up, fan for life, always list them in my influences, still try to write riffs and vocals like them.
