DESCRIPTION :
The War Within is a miniseries published by Dreamwave Productions in 2002 which held the Transformers License at the time. The story is set in the main Transformers G1 continuity. It depicts the early days of the Autobot/Decepticon war and Optimus Prime's ascension to leader of the Autobots.

Ah yes, Dreamwave’s War Within series. The forerunner to War for Cybertron (the video game, not the Netflix series). I remember buying the Omnibus for this series back in Middle School, and holy shit was it good. Loved the video and can’t wait to see the next ones covering this series.

I prefer the name Optronix. I never liked the name Orion Pax. I miss Dreamwave. They got me back into collecting over 20 years ago.

I think there is an dreamwave shattered glass version of transformers if you want to check it out.

They don't unfortunately. The whole Shattered Glass concept didn't come out until 2008 under Fun Publications

in my headcanon optimus primal is called optronix on cybertron and rattrap always makes jokes about it looking like optimus prime so optimus primal.....i was trying to make a stop motion series with my fanficton but im not good at animating my figs so i think i make comics with my figures and upload it on deviantart ....someday maybe
