I fear what I’ve become
The light is torn from the sun
But the worst has yet to come
From the liar’s tongue, fell the words that left me here undone
I saw the path laid ahead and the tracks all painted in dread
Wish I followed the signs but now I’m as good as fucking dead
I buried myself in the weight of all that I once knew
A tomb full of lies
I dug this grave myself
But you led the path to my demise
I felt your words swallow me whole
Stripped of all that was left of my soul
It’s done away (with all my senses)
I saw my world fading away
And watched as the colors turned to grey
It’s gone to waste (this null existence)
In fragments, they lay to waste
The memories made
Of failed attempts to make me something I could never be
Fallacy lies within your dissonant cries
Duplicity hides behind the most innocent eyes
