Re-watch Map 3 of Sentinels vs. NRG in the VCT Americas Kickoff Semifinals.
At Kickoff, every team has to be at their best. Two spots at VALORANT Masters Madrid and Championship Points are on the line. Do well here and you’ll be that much closer to qualifying for Champions 2024.
Eleven teams were split into pools and drawn into 3 groups. Each group will feature a double elimination bracket with Best-of-3 matches. The second-place team of each group will head to the Play-In Stage. The three second-place teams must face off in a round-robin format, with one team earning a spot in the Playoff Stage. All four teams will compete through a single elimination bracket, with the two finalist teams securing their place for Masters Madrid.

Probably they thought they had enough footage (split was the most played map for SEN I believe since everyone was too busy auto banning sunset against SEN), and thought they had the protocols to beat SEN on both sunset and split. Funny how those were the two maps they lost on even after all the pre-match anti strating they probably did.

I don’t know if putting Demon1 on Omen was the right move… he was so limited as a controller, they needed someone to initiate duels aggressively and pressure them, instead he played in the back and tried to stay safe so he can smoke for the team. Huge congrats to SEN though they refined their teamwork like crazy
