My question is, can the sentry be plugged in to a power source and still makes use of it at the same time? I'm worried about the battery not holding charge in the near future and also noticed that the battery is not something someone can change easily.

Yes, you can absolutely plug it in and use it at the same time.

Weather is only broadcast in the US.

Do you need onboard internet connection for it to function and does it give weather info for world wide ?

They have an onboard wifi network that supports up to 5 devices

@@EchoBravoIndia but dpes sentry need internet connection to get latest weather/ traffic info or does it act like an ineependent ADS-B reciever which doesn't need internet to get latest info?

It doesn’t need an internet connection because it’s an independent ADS-B receiver
