My local Fire Depot had a Sentry, but a Model 2 and STH10 replaced it.

We had one in my hometown. It’s on the American Legion building and it can be heard for miles. When I was in school they used it for curfew for kids to be home by 10:00 PM. It’s also used for storm warnings like tornadoes. I’m not sure if it’s being used for anything today because we moved away from there in 1980.

I grew up with one at our volunteer fire department that would go off at noon everyday. Miss hearing that it was a huge part of my childhood and this is the exact model siren we had

Siren is located in my parents neighborhood my mom got this video while on a morning walk and sent it to me. When I end up moving back to north Carolina I’ll try to upload more siren content and my general emergency response videos as well. Just been really busy with work lately. And I also agree with you. Love sentry sirens
