I don't know if it's just me, but I think his death was the most un-cliché his ending would be. What would be cliché would be if he lived and went abroad and somehow later on live together with seo dan, because let's be realistic. He's a wanted person. A con man. He stole billions from a conglomerate. One way or another, he would still be chased or be in trouble, and if they end up together, wouldn't it be cliché if they run away every now and then, or be like a hideaway couple? Also, I loved how Seo Dan ended up to be at the end. Just like how she was portrayed at her first appearance in the series, she ended to be a strong, confident and independent woman that she is, and it only shows that she can be strong without a man in her life. The ending was very sad and I cried a frickin lot but I think it was the best, most un-cliché and most realistic the movie could end.
