Trust me, I've been learning for a while now, and it helps. Just keep in mind that the pronunciation is slightly different when singing verses talking, just like English.

Were out of the Eurovision contest again, this is a great song! Please audition for it next year, we need something different, so many countries are unique in that they sing in their native language, Irish is somewhat unknown to the other countries and it would be amazing to have the world hear it!

You're right. I mean...I don't understand the language but I am quite fascinated with the language of the music. There are songs where it is said to be irish but language is English. I prefer that the language is Irish as well.

It seems counterproductive to me. I'm not Irish, but I've heard all about the Irish language education system, and it just doesn't make sense to me. Why try to save a language by teaching it in an unengaging way?

I can't make any sense out of the Irish language... it sounds to me like English spoken backwards with a hot potato in the mouth and a few German "ch" sounds sprinkled here and there...
