I've read someone said Mudeok's soul actually never left her body that's why naksu's body got no soul.. and the original Mudeok might be the Jin's family's lost daughter which totally makes sense. Naksu x Yul

You know how in some kdramas they make us ship the female lead with the second lead till like 14th episode, and just when we think that they will end up together the main lead (who is in the official poster BTW) just somehow manages to end up with her. I like Jang Uk and Mu Doek as pupil and master. But please god, just for once, please make the second lead main love interest. Seo Yul and naksu/Mu Doek have history and chemistry 😮‍💨💙🤎

no because i totally agree.... janguk and mudeok's relationship feels very teacher-pupil type relationship and it's stopping me from shipping them.. I HOPE SHE ENDS UP WITH YUL BECAUSE HOLY CRAP THE CHEMISTRY IS IMMENSE (and history!!) but also like how they showed he was part of her father's death so idk how it'll turn out

I really loved jang uk and mudeok together at first and just thought of seo yul and naksu's relationship as a typical childhood sweethearts trope... but the progression of their relationship as mudeok and a seo yul who doesnt put her on a pedestal is so heartwrenching. They're so cute and the longing is just *chefs kiss* im in love with this ship ;^; but i better stop since shes prolly gonna end up with uk though 🥲

If there will be season 3 i want Naksu to be with Yul, because in all the episodes i saw that naksu especially in season 1 tried to ignore Yul, and sometimes she gets drowned in his eyes for a moment. I'm sure that she still loves him. If the plot is like that in season 3 i'm really sure that it will be a total sucess. Who is with me!!

They shouldn't have burned the body of Naksu. There's a high probability that Mudeok's soul is still inside dormant. 1) Naksu sleep walked in the middle of the night when Uk and high level master was fighting she she didn't remember what happened 2) Naksu's body won't immediately die when she was chased injured in the 1st ep if Mudeok's soul came inside her, she was only injured but not to a point of death. Which means Mudeok soul might've not entered Naksu's body 3 potential reasons Naksu didn't petrify yet a) Mudeok is Jin's lost daughter. Having mages blood in her made her compatible with Naksu during the alchemy instead of the random lady she dragged b) Naksu's internal energy is just so great that it prevents the body from being petrified c) Mudeok's soul didn't leave the body making them coexist together but only Naksu is conscious. Hence, called a special case of alchemy Edit: Update Ep 8 haha.. Mudeok has the Ice Stone or IS the ice stone hence Naksu has not petrified.

I think, being the ice stone or the creator / vessel of ice stone, Mu-Deok is just highly compatible (ep 1) with Naksu (and possibly every mage without malice). The dog walker Sensei mentioned that he saw no malice in Naksu's soul. I think Naksu could possibly stay in that body indefinitely. It will be better for Uk and Naksu if they had access to the ice stone. I also think they would've wanted to keep her body intact for future use though. I would be surprised if the producers kept an actress for only a few flashback scenes. Plus, plot wise, her body is a powerful one. It could be extremely useful to have someone else shift into it it now that it's vacant. Edit: My theory (possibly borrowed) is that Mu-Deok is really old like the dog walker sensei. Another thing that just came to mind: Mu-Deok intentionally took Natsu's soul into her body. And she was there intentionally cz she expected to run into Naksu. It's been bugging me. If she could stop the henchman from shifting into Uk's body, surely she could stop Naksu from moving into hers. Similarly, it's not a stretch to say that she could intentionally force Nakau's soul inside her own body, or that she was saving the other girl and later decided to allow Naksu's soul entry into her body.

I know it doesn't look like that now, but I believe Naksu will end up with Yul in the end of the series. From the begining of the series there is strong connection between them. Even now when she has a feelings for Uk, she still loves Yul, but she is triing to forget her past life now when she is in Mudok's body. If she gets back her body and life, everything will be different.

I don't think she ever felt as strongly about him , as he did about her. When the time comes, where he has to choose between his love for the Naksu he remembers, vs his duty to kill her, he will hesitate, but feel obligated to kill her.

Probably the end of this series will be like or similarly like Mr. Queen where the Mr. Chef back to his future self and the Queen regained the control of her body. But, for this series one of the soul must give up/sacrifice in order for the other soul to be free since Naksu's real body got burned. Well, let us see the where this story lead us 😌

For the first time in a long time I am actually content with the male lead and have 0 second male lead syndrome. Yes Yul and Naksu have a connection and history but a lot of that chemistry and longing comes from them having unresolved issues. The way they ended things would leave anyone thinking about it for a long time. I think when they eventually talk again they can resolve the issues and move forward but I do not see them being in love with each other in the future.

I wish it was mudeoki all long... Till the end cause its really problematic to see cast changes cause there is always a little difference in personality and really the naksu as mudeoki seems really different to the naksu as go young ... No biasing but really i like the match vibes with mudeoki.. she even looks good with seo yul...a fierce girl really fitted to be naksu...at first season when go young was naksu it really suited ...
