This song celebrates the heroics of the Connemara based rowing family the Seoige from the small island of Inis Bearacháin, over half a century ago they were the best rowers in Ireland at a time when the sport was at its peak with crowds of over 100,000 regularly attending All-Ireland Currach Racing Finals.
