Thank you for watching my video on Seongsan mountain 성산일출봉, which is also known as sunrise peak. Seongsan mountain (sunrise peak) is a very popular destination for sight seers and tourists. It's a quick, but steep hike up with beautiful views of the ocean and the surrounding area of Seongsan. If you visit Jeju Island, definitely check it out!

Hi Pat. This is such an awesome place to visit. Please tell me which place should I book a hotel to get to this place easily? Hoping to be able to travel next year.

That peak is great. Awesome view. Just getting up the stairs... Wished I used a stair climber machine before I went. Another I noticed there after living in America. You can swim in all rivers, beaches, and more. So clean and clear. You do that here, and you'll need to see the doc.

Yes the peak is great! It's a quick hike with some amazing views. I have swam in some of the waterfalls and streams around Jeju Island and found them to be quite clean. later this summer I will do a video on many of the waterfalls around the island ^^

Hi! Im planning to visit jeju island. Im a pwd traveller. I cannot climb these stairs. But i can just stay down the plains right??

thanks. I would appreciate it if you could shoot more video of beaches like Hyeopjae Beach. I am coming to Jeju. especially for their flat clear water beaches...so if you could show more of that I would love it. thank you.

Thank you Sabariah. I have done six videos on six different beaches on Jeju. Feel free to check them oput. Right now the weather is getting much colder on Jeju and it is a bit too cold to go into the water. When the weather gets better, I'll shoot some more beachs. Yes...hehe. I have seen all of them. Junmun. Woljeongri, Hamdeok...all of them. Do you know this Mibura..seseko.Araha...? I saw someone post them. But not so thorough as you as showing the clear water and flat beach. I am going to Jeju next summer. So I am looking for these beaches. I am doing my own travel videos later...my way of course. I don't believe in copycating. Everyone has specialty. That's why I want to go to the flat clear water beaches. Of course I will mentioned I see from your channel. And they can check other beaches..because i only go to the one I like..and thank you.

My gf and I are planning a trip to Jeju during Feb. We will only be there for 3 nights. What are your suggestions for some 'must do' things?

Nice! Jeju will be very cold in February, but still beautiful! If your into hiking, definitely check out Halla mountain and Seongsan mountain. Check out Hyopjae beach and Jungmun beach. They are both very different, but also have a lot of good restaurants and things to see nearby. Hyopjae is a crystal clear calm beach and Jungmun beach is on the other side of the island, which is popular for surfing on the island. I would also suggest maybe taking a day trip to Seogwipo, which is on the other city of the island from Jeju City. There are beautiful waterfalls and cliffs, which are also nearby Jungmun beach as well. There are also a ton of Museums there. If you want to have fun and some good laughs, you could check out Loveland. I would also suggest checking out the Manjanggul caves, which are cool lava tubes underground.

Good point about surveillance camera's good: prevention of crime. Low crime rate there is not that the residents are nice 😓

Im planning a trip to Korea in April. I really want to visit Jeju, Any idea how much it would cost for a 2 day stay, or do you know any good sites for housing/planning a trip to Jeju?

For two days, flight included, $150 dollars max! Flights are very cheap from Seoul to Jeju. On average they are $60 round trip. if you book in advance you can find round trip flights as low as $40 round trip. I would suggest using Booking.com or Agoda.com You can find some guest houses and hostels on there ranging from $12-30 dollars a night. Since you are here for only two days, I would suggest researching a few main things you want to see. You could visit Seongsan Mountain and then spend the day hitting a few other spots no that side of the island. Then plan to see them yourself and visit a few other areas as you go. I will be uploading a video all about the bus system here on Jeju this Friday. It is very easy and will save you a lot of time and money to travel around yourself on the buses instead of booking a tour. When you are booking your housing try to stay in Jeju City. This will make it much easier to just jump on a bus to go where every you want. The buses from Jeju City go all over the island. You also could book one night in Jeju City and visit places on this side of the island then book a place in Seogwipo City, which is on the other side of the island and visit places out there as well.
