Hi guys! Why do I feel like I've lived several lifetimes since this I filmed this video lol. I always regret complaining or talking about not positive things in videos not because I dont want to share it, but because when I look back on it over a week later, it doesnt seem like such a big deal and I cringe hearing myself talk about it. But, i know there is merit to sharing in-the-moment feelings too so this goes on the list of videos i will post but will never look at again lol I hope you're all doing well! Your videos are a breath of fresh air (ironically)! I really appreciate that you are so transparent about pollution and how it affects you! Most of the Korean media I consume rarely talks about it.

Actually most korean media talks about air pollution pretty seriously and every korean know about it. The government sends warning message when the pollution is terribly bad. The biggest reason of air pollution are factories in china but china keep denying their responsibility😡

As a chronically ill person who's been housebound/bendbound for 9 years, I am so grateful to you for making vlogs to "take me on walks" in places I wouldn't otherwise see. When I'm having a tough time I put on one of your videos and get out of my head and body for a while and go on an adventure with you, I even realized yesterday that when you say "let's do that" or "let's go" I sometimes feel like you're talking to me and I'm fully in it 😅 I just wanted to let you know that I love and appreciate all the effort that you put into your videos. You're doing great.

Totally relate when you talk about your difficulties in separating your work life and personal life. As a teacher, I have working hours with kids but I also work a lot at home and it's so hard to organize myself... Thank you for showing us these cool exhibitions ! Here in France, cinemas and museum are re opening on Wednesday (for the first time in 6 months !) so I'm very excited !! Wow, I think I would not be able to live in Seoul with my asthma, it's so scary ...

So sorry to see the air pollution made you ill! Take care of yourself! I've been busy and have fallen behind on the KZfaq channels I like to watch. Yours is one of the first I'm choosing to catch up on, especially because I generally find your videos to put me in good spirits. They are comforting and help me get out of my own head, and I enjoy seeing the different places in Seoul. I really enjoyed the art you filmed from Pageroom 8 in particular. The book you were listening to sounds really good. I really enjoy memoirs as a genre and sometimes books that are emotional can be really cathartic. I'm looking forward to catching up on the rest of the videos I missed!

I went to Stockholm for a few days and now I have so many Cari videos on hold 🤩 just what I needed to help me get through missing the big city! i know that probably i've told you this before a couple of times on insta, but i want to thank you from the deep of my heart for doing this, literally last 2 days has been hard for me to get through, my little sister died from cancer 3 yeas ago she was my depression cure but now she's gone, so 3 days ago i was cleaning the kitchen at my grandfathers house so i moved an old calendar and behind was a little writing that my little sister wrote on the wall when she was little and it broke me down, 2 days has been gone and i can't get through the mental state that it caused me, but al least your video made me feel calm and give me hope to make it far one day and travel the world, thank you so much Cari i love you

The last gallery you went to, the illustrations of the Joseon girl in the blue hanbok? reminded me so much of the Kdrama "Meow, the secret boy", the main character created a webtoon in the drama and her webtoon drawings looked so similar to the ones in the exhibition. It made me smile :) It blows my mind to think that one must be aware, not only of the weather forecast but also the air quality! I realize how blessed I am of living in Scotland, where the air and the water are so clean and fresh (on its majority). And yes! I would love to watch a video on how you manage your two channels and IG. Another *chef's kiss* video. I tried to have a day where I just adventured around the city Wednesday last week, and was planning looking at old books in our state library but I have a crippling fear of heights and the book shelves were too close to the bannisters and I seriously could not make myself walk through any further than the elevator landing area 😓 Not my proudest moments. Been trying to listen to hypnosis videos on KZfaq to get over the fear of heights because I am missing out on so much trying to avoid places where I am made aware of how high up I am

YEs Please! content about how you manage 2 youtube channels + other work. I find it overwhelming to manage college + internship work and ofc the contexts are really different but I'd love to know how you manage to organize everything!

Always be you and Do You. Do what makes you happy and take care of yourself. Cari, I meant to leave a comment about this a long time ago but only remembered when I was going through my photos today! I visited Korea pre-COVID and watched many of your videos in the months leading up to it to help with planning my trip. In Gyeongju, I happened to end up in a cafe that was featured in your vlog (the one playing Moonrise Kingdom on loop!). I was so excited when they brought our drinks over and saw the free snacks - it was just as I was about to eat a pretzel that I remembered one moment in the vlog where you mentioned it was a peanut butter filled pretzel! I have a peanut allergy and I usually check ingredients without fail, but this was one time I happened to forget. To this day it blows my mind that without seeing your vlog I probably would have had no idea. You pretty much saved me from having a bad reaction in an unfamiliar place and I really cannot thank you enough for that! Hope you are doing ok! 🌸 and to anyone reading this who has allergies - this is a friendly reminder to always double check with staff about allergens ❤️

I would be very interested in a 'how I manage my youtube chanels' video. I think you are doing an amazing job uploading three long (!) videos each week. I can only imagine how much time and effort goes into that! Honestly, I am so thankful that you do. I always watch your new video in the morning with my coffee and they make me really happy and motivated to create a beautiful day for myself aswell!

I lived in Korea for a year back in 2017 and it never stopped surprising me how ingrained English is in Seoul everyday life. There was so much English in this vlog... maybe even more than Korean? Like signs on the streets and names of restaurants, it’s so wild! Imagine, having non-romanized characters all over the US! We could never!!
