amazing episode! learned more about Eddie's early career and expanded my horizon on the world tonight. thank you SEPARATE BEDROOMS pod! i actually experience a mental hug when i tune in to your chanel because of this comfortableness in such different worlds of experiences of you two and the guests that are there with you guys. i will call it a cerebral embrace and a melt in the heart = happy human

Yo Eddie and Shia, Charlet is such a cool friend. Her vibe is so strong, this episode and Edison has been my favorite so far. Definitely my top two. And I miss the old-Viceland when Shane literally gave freedom for Eddie to do whatever.

I had no clue who she was until I heard her voice. Then I had flashbacks to me binging vice shows in college.

Eddie knows what’s up, I am a Queens, NYC girl born and raised and because I’m right on the cusp of “suburbanesque” living where I see houses with a small backyard and community, within a compact and continuously moving city that makes NYC what it is, I know that what I have is a perfect balance of what people seek in life. The grass will always be greener on the other side from our perception until we’re actively watering our own grass and appreciating the small patch of grass that is ours to claim

This was in my recommended from watching those Muchies videos Charlet did. It's a shame she didn't do more of them. Experienced food and the culture that made it all in one pop. Great stuff

It would be cool if you did something with China Mac considering you are both New York Chinese Transplants that moved to L.A. It would be cool to hear you guys compare the two Cities

I feel the same way you guys feel about LA! I moved to OC and still find myself coming back to LA like once a week and have a love/hate relationship with the city. Definitely has better restaurants and fun things to do, but the traffic and the people can be a lottt. I need to micro dose Los Angeles. 😂 Natashia! I’m surprised you don’t have more friends. I’d be your friend! 🙋🏻‍♀️🫶🏼

The LA talk segment is exactly why I didn't enjoy visiting the city in comparison to NYC. It feels incredibly superficial and fake.

The founder of Lu Lu Lemon was on NPR show about starting business. I believe he chose the name because he was trying to appeal to the Japanese apparel market. This being said, he did make fun of his plus-size customers on Msnbc. Everybody puts their foot in their mouth, some topics are more forgivable.

Also, Los Angeles ONLY entertainment culture?! You guys really need to get out more. What about Silicon Beach/South Bay with its armies of aerospace and Fortune 500 offices? Or DTLA and all its finance, healthcare and medical services workers or K-Town with its software hubs. And of course, there’s major hospitality and real estate industries in just about every single enclave in the city, from the Eastside to the Hills out to Santa Monica and Malibu. What this tells us is you’re not only self-isolating, you’re not exploring enough. It doesn’t have to be done by car either -- Eddie, you can zip up and down the red line from NoHo all the way into Little Tokyo & DTLA and it’ll feel a lot like New York. DTLA is not St. Mark’s Place or the East Vilage, it doesn’t have that groundswell, but it’s definitely not some sanitized joint. Speaking of the Metro, I’ve seen more crazy stuff happen on the Blue Line out of DTLA than I ever did on the Bway Junction or even 125th and Lex. But not all harrowing, I’ve seen some magical things too.
