Hey beautiful Hunter, and yes, I can relate. I'm a black woman of dark skin. Sometimes it can be very hard to find the perfect shade for my skin tone. Now I'm older and don't use a lot of make- up, so only looking for that natural look. But I would like to see more on this video. As always stay in prayer. Tell Juno we said Hi.

I think you brought up some good points. And although I live in London I am planning to move to Korea at some point. (My husband is Korean and we want that to be our next adventure). Either way I am blasian and blasians that are from Asia did not decide to move to Korea, and they are part of the demographic too. Either way the population is changing so both blasians and expats of color deserve more choice. Cool that you brought it up👍🏽

Loved the vlog! The cafe looked cozy and cute and the basketball game looked fun. Really enjoyed hearing your perspective on accessibility to products for melanated skin. Where there is a gap there is always opportunity and who knows how your voice can drive conversation to help fill that gap. I’m really happy you got the opportunity to work with a new brand. Hey! is that a Wake Forest cap I see? I am from Greensboro......yesssssssss (although, I am a die-hard Duke fan:)....Also, research perhaps a local makeup artist and see where he/she gets the color match for other tones....or even perhaps a color match specialist may be there in South Korea to create your tone (if not too expensive of course...LOL)......Hang in there, it will work out! You are a content creator but will soon create a way....I put that out there for you!

Cannot relate Because wherever I go I make sure I walk with pk of hair to buy skin care for my skin everything that I'm going to need When I go to New Zealand because I know they do not have my skin care And my makeup So I make sure I have 1 suitcase full

Yeah, it’s also recommended here to bring what you need since access to western haircare and beauty products is limited. It just sucks that we have to go through that 😪

Hey! 😊 I don't know if this is recent, but Fenty ships to Korea with free shipping and I got my foundation in less than a week. I don't remember paying a customs fee, but my order was under $100. I was so surprised it came so quickly though. Maybe that was a rare occasion though. :/ I would love the review of the new brand's cushion foundation.

@HunterBrenae Oh wow! I'm not sure about Korea, but another KZfaqr I watch that lives in Japan has her family and friends send her from the states what she's not able to purchase, especially makeup, haircare, and skincare products.

The problem is not S Korean cosmetics companies making cosmetics for Asian skin tones . That is what they should be doing. The problem is that there are very few Africans or African American owned companies that are making cosmetics for the range of Black skin tones . EVEN BIGGER PROBLEM IS THAT BLACKS COMPLAIN ABOUT NOT HAVING ACCESS TO COLORS THAT DO NOT MATCH THEIR TONE BUT THESE SAME PEOPLE DO NOT SUPPORT BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES. THERE WERE MORE BLK OWNED COSMETICS BACK IN THE 1900S THAN IN 21ST CENTURY - ASK YOURSELF WHY THAT IS.

You’re absolutely right. There are so many western brands here who only sell the light shades of their products here because of the market. Fenty was one of few that brought their entire shade range to South Korea so that’s why I’m bummed.

You don’t need makeup all you need is a moisturizer eat healthy foods don’t eat junk and avoid sugary foods

That may be your experience and opinion, but I prefer to wear makeup. I enjoy the products that I wear and would like to be able to readily have those available to me. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
