One thing that we have learned to appreciate from Sepultura are the raspy vocals of Max, we love them! The guitar riffs are always solid , Igor's drums are always leading and tight ( and they have a great tribal sound to them) while the bass line is defining! Loved how tough the girl on the left was rocking out and head banging! You probably think people that are in their 40's are old; this is what we were listening to and had blasting in our cars not that long ago! Still do to this day!

@@Antarath Yep! That was a sweet moment. I think we can all appreciate the significance of this song with the current conflict. This comment will be blocked , and how much does that speak to the powers that be? The truth, there is a war right now for territory, brought on by a dictatorial leader, and we are NOT allowed to talk about it. Why? Because it will eventually get to the reason why this is happening. AND that answer, points to one person in this world. The grifter from Delaware.

I'll never forget seeing and hearing this song and video for the first time, it was a period in my life when I'd stopped listening to and caring about metal for whatever reason, not really caring for all the hair and poser metal bands I suppose, endless songs about beer and women etc, and then all of a sudden THIS comes on my tv, boom I realised that Metal music was worth listening to again!

My memory is fuzzy after all these years, but in the early 90's when this was released, they won the Brazilian Grammy for album of the year. This kind of music never wins anything in the US, but Cheers to Sepultura!

Eloy Casagrande is an amazing drummer, some of the best footwork in metal. He's got a unique way of choosing his cymbals, all Paiste but from different series', some are old, some are new, some are borrowed (he get freebie tryouts as he's endorsed by Paiste) and if he had the Colorsound 900 Series he could have some blue. His mentor is Aquiles Priester (Hangar, WASP), you should see him play, he's got covers of DragonForce's Though The Fire & Flames on both his and Paiste Cymbals' channels. On his channel he has a red set of Paiste's Colorsound 900s and his kit looks awesome.

The story goes an armed religious militia raided the film camp looking for the band just a few hours after they left...how the history of Sepultura would have changed had they not left when they did. Banger song girls, awesome choice...do Rattamahatta next, got the sickest tribal beat to it, know Mia will love it!

War for any reason is pretty much a bad idea! This certainly has a good, driving rhythm throughout with some solid riffs. Sadly it also has one of those vocal styles I am not that fond of.

WILSON !!!! war for terroritory. mia tells a cool story. juliet is concerned about seat belt whiplash, wonder if jack will find the oreo stash. your gurls are way 2 cute to be in a mosh pit, but dad can go, in his metal days, i bet hes use to it. :) very cool. i gotta go see your other reaction i missed . also fill us in mia how the meet-n-greet went and concert. we care and like hearing about what your both up to. plus me and aldo need material for out poems. and simon needs t-shirt ideas.
