I've always loved that some of the "puzzles" for the player are just standard ways of operating the device for the native user.

The orginal Myst was created with a 3D program called Strata 3D. After I ended playing the game I learned 3D. I still use it to this day. The game was truly ahead of its time.

Really enjoyed the VoD/stream. It’s a great game. I bought it when it first came out many many moons ago. And this version is cool that they left the original sound effects in. Edit: also most of the items you saw are not in the original game.

I believe one of the last versions of Myst released (2021?) had some randomised answers to some puzzles; and rime was added in the first masterpiece edition(I think?)
