It’s because some people just like the look of it and how you can adjust it with the different spacers. It can function as a hand brake or a sequential shifter. When only 1 of the other options is $200 and it can be both but it can’t be easily installed and only works with thrustmaster. The Logitech has one of the best easiest mounting options and some people don’t have the choice to mount the $200 shifter/brake one

On the site it’s listed in AUD not USD. It still ends up being like $75 USD so it’s still not really worth it

you know how i justify it? theres no other option if you want sequential. you must not know why sequential is necessary which led you to your conclusion. to most people this is worth it and its a plus that the shifter is only 50$. go ahead and get a thrustmaster for 200 and pay even more for mods, this isnt for you

some people like me cant justify spending 5000+ on a set up (fanatec thrustmaster). i have a g27 i want better shifting this is cheap compared to other options so this is what i will buy. This is for people who dont want the best of the best just want to improve what they have and im really fucken happy i found this

@@hotstuff_xiz410 its great. The feel is really spot on. The way that it brings the shifter back to the neutral position to be ready to shift again is quite impressive.

@@mrturbo757 I have this on order as well. As far as i know you would have to bind the gear up and gear down respectively. Shift up a gear push it foward, Shift down a gear pull it back. You have to bind it in game. I play on FH5.

@@lafaina79 I honestly can’t remember it was quite awhile ago when I bought it! To be completely honest I don’t remember paying any extra fees, shipping did take a few weeks but that’s expected for long travels I suppose! Still use the kit today it’s held up pretty nice so far!!

@@ethanboakes4808 you have to go to the settings and set the 3rd gear as shift up, and then set the 4th gear as shift down, or which ever way you prefer. I believe that the real cars are set similar, but any how this makes for a great shifting experience.

Thank you Michael.. Unfortunately we have not used it on Xbox one yet. It seems that unless you have a 'Driving hub' adapter, you are not able to assign buttons for [up-shift] and [down-shift] on Xbox one, but we are unsure.

yeah dont think it will work on xbox forza unfortunately, we cant do custom button mapping which is a bit annoying. but games such as assetto corsa and some dirt titles where you can do that custom assign i think you might be able to. might try sweet talk the guys into sending me one so i can do some product testing for a video ahahaha

It greatly depends on what kimd of tactile feedback you would want from your shifter, as different people have different preferences.

We haven't uploaded a video of the 'magnetic paddle mod' yet, but we will upload it soon.

This mod was also designed and tested by motorsport enthusiasts to provide 'realistic' tactile feedback from your shifter and only quality parts are being used in manufacturing these kits. It not that much about the price of the Logitech shifter, rather what this kit can provide, comparing to other similarly priced shifters or even some more expensive versions.

Thank you for the great feedback, we really appreciate it. Regarding the 'Sparco' gear knob, then we are unsure, if you can use that, as it may take up too much room on the gear lever. Our gear knob are designed to sit on the top of the gearlever, so it has more room for the spring and also adds a bit of height to the gear lever. And the spacers do come with the kit, so there is a variety of different stiffness levels to choose from.

We appreciate your opinion and are working towards different options on making the manufacturing process cheaper. Currently it's a fairly time consuming process making these kits and we only use quality materials in the process. When designing these kits, a lot of R&D went into making these shifters feel 'realistic' and would be optimized on making your simulator experience more immersive. There are a variety of different shifters available for people to buy, but how many of these were designed by comparing the feel to an 'actual racecar sequential gearbox' like we have done? These are also fully adjustable (throw length and force) to make the shifter feel like the 'Sequential gearbox' that a person is use to. We don't claim these to be the closest replication of the real thing, but we have spent a lot of time on the design, to make it feel as close as possible, without designing one from scratch, which is also in the works already.

I understand and had I been someone that already owned the g920 shifter I would 100% get that over buying thrustmasters option. So dont get me wrong like I said if someone is on pc and doesnt have the g920 shifter it might be worth just getting the thrustmadter option. But if you already have the g920 shifter or are on console with a g920 or I think the ps4 version is g29 this is a good option im not dissing the product its a good price if you already own the thing or are on console but to someone like me it is not worth the cost your product looks and sounds great and probably is. Sorry if I sounded like a Karen before hand.

@@kil3rblood148 that's not a problem and with many different people, there are bound to be different opinions and preferences. We have had the chance, to test TSS sequential shifter/handbrake and were less than impressed, with the feel that it provides, hence why we designed a kit to improve the Logitech shifter and TH8A to a 'Sequential shifter' which we think, does a much better job in providing a 'realistic' feel for a shifter. And if you're like us and still want to have the option to go with 'H-pattern', then it's a pretty easy decision.

With more parts, there's also more manufacturing and that will affect the price. You still have an option, to use the 'stock' shifter boot, but it will take extra time to install it and to take it off, to install a sequential/handbrake.

You would only need to assign buttons for different operations in the game settings. E.g. [gear 3] to [down-shift]

Great to hear you like it. A small amount of WD-40 or similar needs to be applied on the gear lever so the slider ( part with bearings attached to it) can move on the shaft smoother.

Hi Jorge, Thanks for pointing out an issue, that might cause some confusion. Currently when you choose a colour, then it's for the 'ramp' and 'gearknob', as the base plate will come in black. We also offer kits with the preferred colour 'ramp' and a charcoal grey colour gearknob, but that would have to be added as an additinal comment on the order, if you like that. We'll work out an easier system in the coming days..

We will have our European workshop running by the end of next week(27.2) so the shipping prices will get cheaper and deliveries faster. Not sure on the exact price, but if you follow our Facebook or Instagram, then you will be notified of our shop opening and can check the shipping price then. Currently it about $25AUD for shipping to UK.

I have $2'600 bucks in optics on my Sig Sauer A/R-15 which is more than twice the cost of the rifle.

Unfortunately GT sport doesn’t allow you to assign the sequential up shift and down shift to certain gears. Not an issue with this shifter it’s an issue within the game. I have this shifter on a PS4 and use it with other games.

You could learn CAD to make it, which would be cheaper(possibly) and you'd gain a skill to make money with(or whatever you choose to do with it)
