The fact that Valmar and Kai are chatty in Varus’s mind is canon is the best thing ever haha. I like how Varus is the one to ensure Kayn that the human part of him will always remains, as Varus himself was able to find his back (through Valmar and Kai).

I'm amazed at how interesting they made Varus now. All other Darkin speak of when they were Ascended. But none speak of the time before that, when they were human. Varus is different. The other Darkin, after bonding to a host, will silence the host's thoughts. But Varus cannot. He has too many voices in his head. And they are reminding him of when he too was mortal. A time before the Void war and even his ascension. A time of peace. And Varus is beginning to accept and listen to these voices. It is why Aatrox tells him "You are weak Varus. Too human." Which also gives a reason for his design to be the most human of all the Darkin. And why Xolaani shares a lot of his design traits. I believe Varus will be the one to stop Xolaani. Not because of his Darkin power, but his humanity. Xolaani has none left though she pretends to for her thralls. I believe the Darkin civil war will end with Varus delivering an arrow of retribution, empowered by the cries of humanity, straight through Xolaani's heart. And maybe then, the other Darkin will see that they too must embrace humanity if they ever want to find peace. Well done Runeterra team!

Damn man the kind hearted recuit's lore is very sad. I do like how Vayne and all of her support cards tell an actual story that's one of the best things I like in LOR, that they tell you a story in the art of the cards but don't force it upon you.

Oh god, my heart actually got wrenched when I heard the kind hearted recruits voice lines for his sister. There's actual pain there and you can feel that, props to the VA a hundred times over

Evelynn seems proud with Vayne and if you think about it, Vayne kind of turned into Evelynn, she consistently hunts, and is always looking for new prey. So guess its kind of funny.

I hope they will add a few funny interactions between Sera, Cait and Vi.

To me, Varus has always has been kinda forgotten among the other Darkins, but this expansion is re-igniting the love for his character that I once had for him.

I like how Kind hearted recruit gives barrier to people with weapons, so he's protecting his teammates, but also the harpy is built around equipment so he shields her too, still holding out in her coming back. But then when the harpy "dies" the first time and the weapon is destroyed, it's too late for him to help her and there's nothing he can do to save her.

one thing i like about vayne is how she has no mercy. this version of her defintiely seems more mellow & open to people but i was hoping they would go further with it. like getting really angry when seeing monsters & still showing suspicion towards senna. when killing evelynn i was hoping she would laugh maniacally or something, but i still really like what they do with vayne's character. she's one that i feel like is underrated because she actually has really interesting lore

i can see people loving seraphine now. i remember the hate she got during 2020 to early 2021s. she's not that weak and useless at all. ya'll just saw someone hating on her and decided to hate her aswell. eversince her release i'm already a fan and although her design is kinda an exaggeration of a popstar for me, her lore isnt THAT horrible, it just lacks context and explanation of her backstory. + her powers are really cool. if she hears voices in other's head, then she could communicate with sona, aurelion sol or the spirit of ionia and the watchers.

after hearing those varus voice lines.. i actually am hoping they'd redo his voice lines in league.. that was FANTASTIC and i hope they never use that jhin LOR voice actor again tho
