Any one now that is winning against her is half her age. Show me a lady that is her age that can play like her or even win against her. I might be wrong but I can’t remember any. Serena Is the best that ever played, i love her passion, her resilience, and yes, when you try her she will let you know what’s up. Love her then, now and forever, and i am in my late sixties. Never watch tennis before until these two sisters started on the scene and now i watch every person that plays, men or women. We have many young black ladies that are just like Serena that will go on to greater things also, good luck to all of them.

I love that she took all these shots from the tennis world for being so loud and passionate during matches and now lots of women do it. It’s more commonplace. You don’t have to be all quiet and dainty to play tennis as a woman anymore

The first grunter in the women's game was a Romanian player named Virginia Ruzici. It wasn't as obnoxious as some of the women's "sreams" are now, but then Monica Seles began the storm of screaming storms. Sharapova was unbearable. With Serena, it can go from passionate to lioness depending on her stress levels.

@@PravoslavniVitez Steffi Graf played non stop in comparison to Serena who has taken quite a lot of time off tennis due to injuries/health and personal injuries. Also, at both their physical primes it is highly likely that Serena would dominate her lol. They are both legends and goats of their respective eras

I really hated Serena for beating Sharapova 20+ times. But no one can deny the fact that she's a highly respected player and done so much for the sport! She definitely changed the game of the women's tennis of this era. It will be sad to see Serena retiring for sure.

Sharapova is just a balk basher it's why her consistency is horrible. She can only win against pushers she's a middle court bully her height let's her really flatten the ball out. She doesn't have great records outside of Slams. She struggles against players with more finesse especially at the net. She dictates from the baseline. Serena hasn't seen Sharapova as a rival in years.

She earned her rights to do every ‘COME ON’ and roar that she did… and I’m not ashamed to say when she got intense like this when I was watching matches live I would get emotional… could feel chills just spiking through me, I don’t think I will ever get that feeling again from any athlete… she is truly a cherished champion❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 she changed the sport of tennis from being a quiet boring game that only few were interested in to being a roaring intense spectacle that the world loves to see.

What a tenis player. Shes very lucky surrounded but good parents all her life. Just a few weeks ago before on November i think sooo recently she played a match and she was set point down with break and i said... nooo what a pity to loose... xaxaxa... she took the first set eventually lost the second and took the third and the match. Classic Serena... 90% percent of wta players if they lost the first set with break also collapse on the second mentally and psychologicaly but thats not for Serena! She won that match can you believe it... She took more than ten points continuously almost the same points as the whole set till that time loosing as i can remember only one or two to win the first set in a few minutes saving the set point also...

Queen Serena. You have brought so much to this sport and to all sport in general. You have 24, 25 & 26 in you but you have to drop 20-30 lbs. for greater dexterity. You beat yourself at the Aussie 2021. Osaka is a good player but she mirrors you.
