Beautuful painting. If only you painted over the whole picture in white before adding colour then you would have avoided the colours bleeding under the masking tape.

The technique was very Bob Ross after those first blobs, but with far more vivid colours. I bet he'd have liked it.

Although the frame or "as seen through a window" idea is nice...I don't like it. In my opinion, the painting was better without the framing. But that's just me. Your techniques for achieving "sky with clouds and stars," or even the "petals/leaves on the ground," is all kinds of awesome. The blending is incredible too. ❤

Decent idea but acrylic probably wasn't the best use with this framing technique. Because of the plasticity, it doesn't give quite the crisp clean lines you hoped for. But we don't often learn until we experiment and find out. So keep experimenting.
