I can say it again. Serenity could be the official end of Firefly. But that doesn't mean it happened right after Firefly, you could insert a few more seasons.... episodes in that time gap.

If Nathan Fillion and John Barrowman were ever on the same show or movie, I think the universe would probably implode.

I miss Firefly so much it kind of hurts. No, actually it really really hurts to think about it.

It's weird, when i only knew Baldwin from Firefly/Serenity, it was odd seeing him without facial hair and minimal dialogue in Chuck. But now that I've been watching a lot of Chuck, it's weird seeing him smile, laugh, and have facial hair :) Best cast ever lol

Book didn't need to die, but Alan did (and he said [pretty much] this) "I think Joss' decision to kill Wash really added to the end of that movie, it gave you the feel that anybody could have died at any time... if it hadn't made it better, I would probably be angry."

@sunsetofdoom Right, now imagine what you just said, with Brian Blessed as well! The 'verse would implode from the awesomeness then Brian would open his mouth and the sheer noise would explode it right back out leaving everything as it was just a bit more shiny for the experience.

And this would be why I want more than anything to be best friends with Nathan Fillion.

Joss made two mistakes in the movie that made it pretty much unthinkable to revive the tv series 1. making it impossible to cast Ron Glass ever again, and 2. Making it impossible to cast Alan Tudyk, I won't say how though for those that haven't seen it though.

@wikieditspam Unless they do a story set before Serenity. There's a bit of time in between the series and the movie that they didn't cover.

@wikieditspam Well, since there was clearly supposed to be a significant amount of time between the first season and the movie, I don't think it would be out of the question to write some material that takes place in between. Though I personally would be okay with it if he just picked up where the series left off and pretended that the movie didn't happen, since the show was ten times better anyway.

Actually they could bring Alan back. Some have brought up ways. I don't want to post for those who haven't seen it. If you like to know, let me know. I don't think it would ever happen though :(

@wikieditspam Yeah but the move takes place 6 months after the serie's last episode, so they can fill up those months.

@wikieditspam im pretty sure he meant for that. it was kind of a send-off, if you will.

@wikieditspam Wasn't that way in his original script. He was under pressure from Universal to leave the story open for a sequel (obviously that never happened) and he couldn't get Ron or Alan to commit to that at the time.
