I was lucky enough to meet Sergei in person a few months ago after my 9 year old sons ballet school was invited to Covent Garden to Sergei's private training, and then consequently letting the boys have the honour of interviewing him. He was an extremely polite, kind and humble man. A true honour to be in his presence.

When you're a dancer, it can be difficult to watch other dancers. You get so distracted by technique, texture, and the tiniest details. THIS HAD ME LOST! I was so wrapped up in his pure emotion and artistry that nothing else mattered. That, my friends, is magic.

I had the privilege of being there that day amongst the public. It was a transcendental experience. It filled you with the sort of inspiration that doesn't last for just a day, but you can call upon it when you need it for the rest of your life. A turning point for me as an artist. Amazing talent and athleticism always in the service of effective communication. What a lesson to learn. A memory to treasure. It,'s also good to get glimpses of it through the official video. Even if the editing was bad this shouldn’t be free to watch this man had such powerful emotion in each movement he made from his tips of his fingers to the elongated developes. His moves were really really impressive and his height in the air was unbelievable. This was a really nice I loved every second of it.

I don’t know why people are so upset at the videographer. For me he’s a hero. Despite being partially blind and having no depth perception, he battled his handicaps and achieved his lifelong dream of becoming a professional video artist. I praise him for his courage and determination, just like the deaf South African multi-lingual interpreter, the paraplegic Australian firefighting team, and the spastic cross-eyed wannabe surgeon who almost sent my father to heaven.

Well actually this isn’t ballet it’s lyrical/contemporary. Ballet is really sharp and precise, also you never get on the floor in ballet unless your kneeling which has to be done a certain way.

To everyone saying this is ballet: it's actually lyrical. Different shoes, different emphasis within the performance, and a lot more emotion, while ballet focuses more on the technical aspects and making it look pretty. Lyrical is pure emotions, which this man has managed to capture quite well.

Oh my God. Oh my god. Oh my god. This. Was. INCREDIBLE!!!! Words cannot describe how I felt watching this. Incredible is a word far too small to describe it. My mouth hung open. Especially the pirouettes in the air....JUST INCREDIBLE. It was....- WOW. WOW. WOW.

I have never watched a full ballet, love dance, just not big on this type. BUT I loved this, and I LOVED the close ups to show the expression and to add to the message he was sending using his body. I loved the close ups. I would likely not of watched it if it had all been from a distance. Remember, it was THEIR interpretation, NOT yours.
